Parent / Guardian Code of Conduct
    Parents/Guardians Code of Conduct:

    • Do not force an unwilling child to participate in sports.

    • Remember children are involved in football / cheerleading for their enjoyment, not yours.

    • Encourage your child to play by the rules of the game and not to argue with coaches, referees or officials.

    • Teach your child that honest effort is more important than victory so that the result of each game is accepted without undue disappointment.

    • Turn losing into winning by helping your child work towards skill improvement and good sportsmanship. Never ridicule or yell at your child for making a mistake or losing a game.

    • Remember that children learn best by example. Applaud for a good play by your team and members of the opposition.

    • Do not question the officials’ judgment. Remember he is only human with the same feelings as you and, like you sometimes may make an honest error.

    • Support all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from children’s sports.

    • Recognize the value and importance of coaches and other members who are all volunteers. They give their time and resources to provide football / cheerleading for your child.

    • Read the rules of the game. Promote this code of conduct, should you feel the code is being broken, advise board members as soon as practically possible.

It is imperative that parents conduct themselves in a proper manner. Use of profanity, verbal, or physical harassment towards officials, staff, coaches, or players, will not be permitted.

Please understand that failure to abide by the above code of conduct may result in parents being asked to leave the premises, and possibly excluded from attendance at future games.
