Chester Clippers helping our Community
December 2, 2011
The Chester Clippers Junior Hockey Club has always worked to help benefit our community and this year is no different, as the Clippers organization has selected 6 great worthy causes to support. These groups are as follows:
Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund, Movember Foundation for Men's Health, QEII Foundation, P.R.O. Kids Chester, Chester & Area Family Resource Centre.
Please make sure to attend all our games this year, but especially the upcoming charity nights at the Chester Rink:
Saturday, December 3rd - 7:30pm vs Spryfield - QEII FOUNDATION (50/50 ticket profits to be donated)
Saturday, December 10th - 7:30pm vs Oxford - QEII FOUNDATION (50/50 ticket profits to be donated)
Saturday, December 17th - 7:30pm - Alumni Game - P.R.O. KIDS CHESTER (Total game profits to be donated)
Saturday, January 14th - 7:30pm vs Barrington - CHESTER & AREA FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE (50/50 ticket profits to be donated)
PUBLIC SKATE with the CLIPPERS

Hey fans, come out to the Public Skate tonight from 6-6:30pm to skate around with your CHESTER CLIPPERS!
Then, stick around to watch the Clips battle the South Shore Wild at 7:15pm...game admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and free for kids 5 years or younger! Great and Inexpensive Family Fun!!!

The Chester Clippers players helped run a shooting and passing clinic on Saturday, November 7th in Chester as part of Hockey Nova Scotia's province-wide Hockey Development Weekend. On Monday, March 30th, some members of the Chester Clippers participated in a fun game against the Chester Ravens Pee Wee B team. The Clippers played with some parents against the kids. Check out the photo gallery for pictures of the game.

On Friday, October 24th, the Chester Clippers assisted the Chester Municipal Recreation Department with their Sledge Hockey event. Over 20 kids and adults participated in the event which was held at the Chester Rink.
The event was hosted by the Municipality of Chester and the IWK Children's Hospital.
