DC HEAT BOYS 14 U Finish 2nd in the Nation!

DC HEAT Boys 14 U team traveled to Las Vegas on July 25, 2009 to compete in the National Youth Basketball Championship. The boys started play on Monday July 27 and completed the tournament on Friday July 31, 2009. They finished up 5-2 and were able to take the path to the Championship to fight a hard battle.

DC HEAT Boys 10 u finish 2nd in the Maryland Maruader's tourney.

The DC HEAT Boys 10 u team finished second in their showing in the Maryland Maruaders' tournament. The boys had a tough game in the championship and just could not pull it out and ended up with second.

DC HEAT Boys 14 U got 4-0 to take the Hartford County Shootout!

The 14 U boys never looked back in this tournament. They took the 1st game 69-18, even after being off for two weeks. The boys were clicking completely in that game. They then went on to take their second game of the day over Philly's JJ Ballers.
Sunday, they completed the route by winning the semi and ultimately the championship!
One more down on our way to Vegas to compete in the Boys National Championship.

DC Heat Boys 15 U take the Gold in the Maryland YBOA State Tournament.

The DC HEAT Boys 15 U team won their first State Title. The boys took the gold in the YBOA Maryland State Tournament to earn their way to the YBOA National tournament in Florida.

14 U Boys Finish 2nd in the West Va. Legends Tourney

DC HEAT 14 U boys take 2nd place in the West Va. Legends Spring Classic. The game came down to the wire with the game tied with 3 seconds left in the game. The SPB Heat went to the foul line to score the go ahead on the front end of a one and one. The game ended 54-53.

10 U Team places 2nd in the Potomac Valley Winter League

The 10 U Team takes 2nd place in their first league, the Potomac Valley Winter League.

14 U team repeats as Potomac Valley Winter League Champs!

DC HEAT Boys finished the Potomac Valley Winter League with a perfect record. The boys pulled out the win in the Championship game with a buzzer beater by Gavin Salmond to sink a 3 to break the tie and win the game!

DC Heat Boys 10 u team won the Battle at the Point in High Point, North Carolina. The boys took the gold going 4-0 to win the tournament.
