Hardest worker in last practice
This section is to recognize hard working, groovy players.
San Marcos - All the girls worked hard the last few practices. Most had fire in their eyes.

RBI leader
This section is to recognize Groove players that know how to deliver with runners in scoring position.
San Marcos Tournament - Em, Lindsey, Aspen and Vern really had the mojo going. These 4 got the others going but really delivered some really great hits.

The Queen of Hits
This section is to recognize the most successful Groove hitters of the last Tournament.
San Marcos Tournament - All the Groove girls hit well. Em, Lindsey, Aspen and Vern led the way. Rosie and Alli were in there too. Cassie made the most of her Saturday night with a BIG shot to the outfield.

This section is to recognize the Groove player that was slappin' leather in the last Tournament.
San Marcos Tournament - Em, Alli, and Laurie made some ESPN highlights.

Outstanding Bunting
This section to recognize the Groove players that sacrified their sticks by bunting for the good of the team in the tournament.
San Marcos Tournament - Aspen and Vern (yes Vern) had some memorable bunts.

Hardest hits
This section is to recognize the Groove player that had the heavy lumber in the last Tournament.
San Marcos Tournament - Lindsey wins this crown. She sent a shot to the 3rd baseman on Saturday night that knocked her down (thankfully she was not hurt). Lin turned this in to a triple. WOW!

Scoring Leader
This section is to recognize the Groove players that know what it's all about....scoring.
San Marcos - The scoring leaders were Curly, Lin, Vern, Aspen and Rosie.

Wanted for Stealing
This section is to recognize Groove players who take, stolen bases to give to their teammates.

Working Together
This section is to recognize Groove players with great communication and teamwork to make things happen on the field.
San Marcos Tournament - Jess and Vern teamed up to make an almost unstoppable pitching duo.

Took one for the Team
This section is to recognize Groove players who took one for the team in the last Tournament.
San Marcos - Rosie took a shot to get on base that opened up the gates for us.

How did they do that
This section is to recognize the Groove players that pulled off great plays or did something you wouldn't expect most 14U to do.
San Marcos - Kelly (The Hammer) came thru in 2 games for us - when we needed that BIG hit - there was Kelly. 2 Doubles that reignited our fire.

Touch'em All
This section is to recognize the Groovy Hitters who "Touch'em All", In-the-Park and Over-the-Fence.
San Marcos - Rosie had great HR.

Best Fan-Last Tournament
This section is to recognize Groovy fans that work just as hard as the team.
San Marcos Tournament - It was nice to see the crowd that was out to support the Groove Girls. Through the wins and the loses the parents and fans never stopped supporting the Groove. GO GROOVE!

Coaches Recognitions
This section is for the Groove coaches to recognize anyone and anything they want.
San Marcos - The coaches would like to recognize the effort the girls made on the field to turn their game around and get back in the winning mode. They work harder on their conditioning, communication and teamwork than they had in a long time. A new attitude seems to have grown over the summer.
