    EVERY PLAYER PLAYS
(This rule replaces the 2nd Quarter rule of the 2007 season.)

1)Every Player at the Novice and Junior Level will play a minimum of 6 plays per game (Offense. Defense, and Special Teams)

2)Each Head Coach or Park Director should select a Sideline Monitor for each game to track the number of plays that a Player gets in a game. Sideline Monitor could be: Park Director, Coach on staff, or Parent Volunteer.

3)Once the Player reaches six plays there is no more need to track that Players participation.

4)There is no need to track the participation of “Starters” on Offense or Defense. It is assumed their status as a starter will insure that they will play the minimum amount. (Please indicate on tracking form what players are starting with an “S” next to their name in the 1st Quarter box).

5)Sideline Monitor will communicate with Head Coach after the end of the 3rd Quarter the status of which players have not yet reached the goal of six plays.

6)After the conclusion of the game, he Sideline Monitor will sign the form and turn it in to the Director of Operations. He will sign it and keep record of it for future review.

7)An exception to this rule will be the situation when a player is deemed not ready by his Coaches to participate due to safety concerns. This should be communicated to Parents and Players prior to game days.

PLEASE NOTE: The sideline monitor must keep track of the NUMBER of Plays the Player participates in. This is done with tick marks on the monitor form. Last week the monitors were just placing a mark in the box marked 1st,2nd,3rd, and 4th quarters noting that the players played that quarter.>
