Montgomery College Germantown Baseball, participants in the last three World Series, has announced its Baseball and Softball Camp schedule for Summer 2009. Camps will be one week sessions running six consecutive weeks starting June 22 and ending the week of July27. The Montgomery College Germantown Baseball Staff and Players will stress the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, pitching, throwing, base running etc..and all of the important aspects of the game. All levels of abilities are welcome.
Campers will be placed with their appropriate level of play.

The schedule is as follows:
June 22- Baseball – Ages 5-13
June 29- Baseball - Ages 5-13
Softball-Ages 8-14
July 6- Baseball- Ages 5-13
July 13 – Baseball-High School Week – Ages 13- 18
Softball- Ages 8-14
July 20- Baseball- Ages 5-13
July 27 – Baseball Ages 5-13
Softball Ages 8-14
Options for Parents
½ Day – Time 9-12 – Cost $150.00/Session
Full Day- Time 9-3 – Cost $230.00/Session
Save 10% with 2 or more registrations
Daily Specialty Session- Campers will have the option to pick a particular position that they want to concentrate on each day.. For example if a player wants to be a pitcher, we will concentrate on pitching for that camper 1 hour each day.
Lunch &Learning- The camp will feature a special guest 4 days a week during our Lunch Break. Guests will include local Policemen, Firemen, Trainers, etc. These guests will give the children some insight on the issues that they deal with and answer any questions they may have
Swimming- Kids will be able to enjoy themselves in the MC Germantown Pool 3 times a week. Certified Lifeguards are provided by the school to ensure safety for all.

Softball Camp- Montgomery College Germantown is offering for the 1st time a Softball Camp for girls ages 7-14. The Camp will be directed by the 2008 Baltimore Sun & Digital Sports Coach of the Year Paul O’Brien from Pallotti High School. Camp will stress the fundamentals of playing the game of softball. Basics on hitting, fielding, throwing, base running & pitching.
