How do I become a member of this team?
Call for an appointment for a tryout.  Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. We would love for you to come train with the team..

What age players are you looking for?
We are currently looking for boys that cannot have turned 13 before May 1st 2008. So, if you are 11 or 12 then you can tryout for this team.

Where will this team play?
Our home fields will be in Mount Sinai/Port Jefferson and we will be playing as a travel team for National Junior Baseball (www.nationaljunior.com)- You can visit their site for specific fields - we will play at various fields from Eastern Suffolk to Nassau County. Baseball Heaven will also be a consideration for this upcoming Spring season.

How often will this team play?
We will have practices 2x-3x/wk
We will play Spring - April-June
Summer - June-August
Fall - Sept-Oct
We will also play in various tournaments
We will not play on Sunday mornings (most games in spring will be on Sunday afternoon).

What are the fees/costs associated with this commitment?
The plan is to train hard and not to be just another team. You must be serious about making a commitment to play on this team. Once the commitment is made we will begin raising funds(if fund raising goes as planned)- the cost for Spring will be approx. $300. plus uniform. Training fees and tournaments are additional. (other seasons TBA)

How many players will be on the team?
There will be 12-13 players on the team. Like we said this is a serious team looking for serious players - we do not plan on having ANY "benchwarmers"! Each player on this team is to be a dedicated team player.

Does a player need to be registered on an in-house to to be eligible to play on this team?

NO! We are an independent organization.  "NO POLITICS HERE".  There is no need for in-house when you play on a travel team. We actually do not want our players playing on an in-house team, we will keep you busy enough and want commitment to THIS team.  Spring 2008 we will have players playing School Ball for their school teams - we will encourage these players to make their first priority to their school team-we will do all we can to support them and encourage them to do their best on both teams. 

Do you have more than one team or do you have many teams for different age groups?
We are currently have an 11U/12U team. We do not have teams for any other ages or for girls - RIGHT NOW - If anyone is interested in putting a team together or bringing in their own team they can contact us - we will be more than happy to help them build their team and create a different age division.
