 In 1987 the Lombard Baseball League gave its first college scholarship. Each year at least one college bound baseball player that meets the eligibility requirements will recieve $1,000.00 to apply towards tuition, books, and /or room and board.The player that recieves this scholarship must possess strong character, scholastic acheivment, athletic merit, and show dedication to improving the community within witch they live. The scholarship is open to all active LBL players age 17-19years old. All scholarship applications must be postmarked no later than August 16th of the year that you are applying for.Applications should be mailed to:
