Field Marshall Responsibilities
Field Marshall:
1. Help set up the playing field (yard markers correctly placed on field, first-down chains available on field, etc.)
2. Be available for rule questions/disputes. A copy of the rules will be in each press box. An extra set will be available in the Field Marshal
book located in the concession stand.
3. Communicate any "extreme" problems (fights, disorderly conduct, etc.) with your Grand Field Marshal.
4. Responsible for all weigh-ins. Must be done 30 minutes prior to kick-off. The official weight rules, as defined in our 2005 rules and
regulations, will be followed to the letter! NO EXCEPTIONS!!
5. The Marshal on duty in the morning will raise the flag on the flagpole. The Marshal on duty in the evening will lower the flag and secure it in
the concession stand.
Grand Field Marshall:
1. Tend to any major disputes at the park. Call 911, if necessary. Don't try to be a hero!
2. The GFM is responsible for the ENTIRE DAY at the park, unlike the Field Marshal, who is designated a half-day.
