WHY NOT HAVE FUN & VOLUNTEER!!!
We are looking for Head & Assistant Coaches for the Junior & Senior Division!
Requirements: YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO LAUGH AT YOURSELF & HAVE LOT'S OF PATIENCE!
Ok really, no experience required to coach. I will provide you tons of DVD's that will prepare you to be a coach & teach you the material. The good news is JR & SR's typically have cheered a few years and already know some things. It will take time & patience, and yes a sense of humor. I have many a mom's say to me "Are you crazy, I can't do that". If you talk to them now they'll tell you it was the most fun they ever had! (Oh, dad's are welcome too!) I do have 2 dad's coaching this season!
What if I don't have a daughter cheering? No problem! You can still coach. You may have a son playing football in this age division and would love to coach cheerleading, and then you'll really be able to cheer him own!
The only thing we do require is that the coach must be over 18 years of age and must agree to a criminal background check.
If you're interested in coaching or have further questions give me a call at 706-788-3830.
Thanks for reading and considering!

MCYA 3rd Annual Cheer Off Competition
November 15, 2008 - 09:00 AM --
WOW! Great job to all the Squads this year! Everyone of you looked wonderful!!!
I wished we could have afforded to give you all "HUGE TROPHIES". I hope your enjoying your t-shirts! We "MCYA" really worked hard to raise money to make this season's competition a little nicer. I personally wanted each Cheerleader to have something "nice" to take home with them for all their hard work! The design was done "Special for you"! You are building on top of "MCYA" and building for your future as perhaps a middle school cheerleader!
However, the most important thing I hope you build is "CONFIDENCE". Just like our Camp Shirt slogan "You're not just a cheerleader, but a LEADER)!
I'm proud of everyone of you and hope to see you next season! Also, I'm slowly adding new pic's everyday from the event, so check back!
Thanks again,
Wendy
