vs. Saline Stix
The last regular season game saw the Hens travel to Saline to battle the AA State Champions, Saline Stix. The Hens battled tough, but ended up on the short end of a 11-5 decision. Awards for outstanding effort & achievement went to #54 Dillon "DC" Champagne (3 innings of dominant pitching), #7 Colin "The Reaper" Repasky (2 big hits, solid pitching), and #1 Blake "Beaner" Bean (Double in the right center gap).

FJBA Tournament
The Mud Hens won the Fowlerville 10U FJBA Tournament June 27th-28th with a 3-0 record. The Hens defeated the Pinckney Pirates and the Hartland Eagles in pool play. The Hens posted a dramatic come from behind victory vs. the New Lothrop Hornets in the championship game. Trailing 9-1 in the bottom of the 6th the boys started a rally unseen in these parts. The rally went full circle when #3 Jack "Jack Attack" Politowicz delivered the game tying hit to Center Field sending the game into extra innings. Trailing 11-9 in the bottom of the 7th, the Hens scored three to bring home their second championship in the month of June. Highlights included: The pitching of #3 Jack "I am the Jack Attack Hear Me Roar" Politowicz (came in with bases loaded and no outs and set them down in order), #33 Blake "BK" Kocsis (started the 6th inning rally with a triple), and #9 Dov "Lennon" Seifman (heads up base running by being the second runner to steal home on the same pitch to tie the score in the bottom of the 7th). Player of the game honors go to Colin "Yell at me all you want I got the game winning hit and didn't even know it until Drew hugged me" Repasky. With 1 out and #13 Joe "MoJo" Majoros on second base and with ice flowing through his veins, Colin delivered a blast to Right Center that is still traveling through the atmosphere (according to local meteorologists) scoring Joe. GREAT JOB BOYS!!!

vs. Brighton Rebels
The Hens hosted the Brighton Rebels and posted an 18-4 victory. Highlights included a homerun by #5 Jadyn "Bodges" Hodges (award for outstanding effort and achievement). Other awards for outstanding effort and achievement went to #10 Ben "Big Ben" Kucharski (Big Hit) and #13 Joe "Mojo" Majoros (1 inning of awesome pitching).

vs. South Farmington Blues
The Hens hosted cross town rival South Farmington Blues and posted a 5-3 victory. The Hens were paced by outstanding pitching performances by #54 Dillon "Pizza" Champagne and #32 Jared "Big Fish" Fish. Player of the game honors went to #1 Blake "Beaner" Bean (2-2 at the plate with a ground-rule double shot to right center).

vs. Ann Arbor A's
The Hens hosted the Ann Arbor A's. The boys came ready to play and beat the A's 8-0 behind stellar pitching from #54 Dillon "DC" Champagne & game ball winner #10 lefty Ben "Ten Ben" Kucharski (also crushed a double to left center). An award for outstanding effort and achievement went to #3 Jack "Jack Attack" Politowicz (2 runs scored).

vs. Novi Heat
The boys traveled to Novi and dropped a 7-1 decision to the Heat. After a rocky 1st inning, the Hens played even with the top rated Novi club for the remainder of the game. Outstanding defensive performances were turned in by #32 Jared "Big Fish" Fish, #1 Blake "Double B" Bean, and #7 Colin "My Mom is Older Than Your Mom" Repasky. #33 Blake "BK" Kocsis & #5 Jadyn "Bodges" Hodges were exceptional behind the plate.

vs. NFWB Cobras
The boys traveled north a couple of miles and faced the NFWB Cobras. The Hens came out a little flat and lost 10-4 to the Cobras. #33 Blake "BK" Kocsis received the award for outstanding effort and achievement for throwing a runner out at the plate on a passed ball and for 2 solid innings on the mound.

Kurt Demuth Memorial Tournament
The boys had a very successful weekend winning the Kurt Demuth Memorial tournament in Charlotte. The weekend ended with a perfect record of 4-0 and giving up only a single run the entire weekend. All the boys played great. Highlights include: #54 Dillon "Pizza" Champagne (dominating pitching all weekend including 5 shutout innings in the championship game), #32 Jared "I am the Fishman" Fish (big hits and dominating pitching against Grand Ledge & Birmingham), #3 Jack "JP" Politowicz (big triple in the championship game and 1 awesome inning pitched against Holt), #1 Blake "Beaner" Bean (stellar defense all tournament), #5 Jadyn "Fiver" Hodges (3 hits in the championship game and outstanding catching against Grand Ledge and Birmingham), #7 Colin "The Reaper" Repasky (top notch plays in the championship game at SS), #10 Ben "BenTen" Kucharski (solid play at 1B and at the plate), #13 Joe "one three" Majoros (solid infield and outfield play throughout the tournament), #30 Drew "Big Stick" Sheckell (timely hard hit balls in the championship and solid play at 1B), #33 Blake "Cokesies" Kocsis (Great outfield play and 1 awesome inning pitched against Holt), and #9 Dov "Dover" Seifman (solid defensive play and 3 awesome innings pitched against Leslie). GREAT JOB MUD HENS!!!

vs. Ann Arbor Mustangs
Wearing their "Road Reds" at home, the boys got out of their funk in the 4th inning and posted a 13-7 wictory over the Mustangs. Awards for outstanding effort and achievement went to #5 Jadyn "Bodges" Hodges & #8 Charlie "Double C" Ciaramitaro. Jadyn threw out 2 runners, had 2 tag outs at the plate, caught a pop-up behind the plate, and hit a ground rule double in a 5 run 5th inning. Charlie made a nice stab at 3rd on a line shot that was heading right for his face. Player of the game honors went to #54 Dillon "Dill Dill" Champagne. Dillon pitched 3 strong innings and also hit a ground rule double in the 5th inning.

vs. Fenton Tigers
The Hens got back on the winning track with a 10-4 victory over the visiting Fenton Tigers. The Hens were led by #13 Joe "lucky 13" Majoros (executed the suicide squeeze), #1 Blake (Double B) Bean (2 hits, 2 runs, 5 stolen bases), and #7 Colin "where's my glove" Repasky (2 hits and the save on the mound). Player of the game honors go to #30 Drew "Big Sheck" Sheckell. Drew kept up his hot hitting and now has 13 hits in a row.

vs. Huron Valley Patriots
The Hens traveled to Highland to take on the Patriots. The boys got the bats going early and often on their way to a 22-10 victory. Awards for outstanding effort and achievement went to #1 Blake "shorty" Bean (on base 3 times), #30 Drew "The Hitman" Sheckell (4 hits), and #10 Ben "Benner" Kucharski (triple, solid pitching, solid defense at 1st). Player of the game honors went to #32 Jared "Let me play SS" Fish. Jared led the game off with a monster homerun over the head of the RF. Jared also hit a ball that found an opening in the fence in LF for a ground rule double and pitched 2 shutout innings.

vs. Northville Mustangs
The Hens dropped a decision to the Mustangs 11-5. After a rough 1st inning, the boys settled down and played the Mustangs even for the last 5 innings. #1 Blake "Stink" Bean and #30 Drew "Magic" Sheckell had solid defensive games. #3 Jack "Pads" Politowicz made an outstanding play by diving for a runner stealing home and tagging him out before he reached the plate. #8 Charlie "The Chuckster" Ciaramitaro and #10 Ben "Lolich" Kucharski saw their first action on the mound. Charlie pitched one inning while Ben put in 2 innings of solid work.

vs. Pinckney Pirates (Red)
The Hens took to the road where they were victorious over the Pinckney Pirates (Red) with a score of 15 - 7. Awards for outstanding effort and achievement went to #5 Jadyn "Fiver" Hodges, #7 Colin "The Rookie" Repasky, and #8 Charlie "Char" Ciaramitaro. Player of the game honors went to #32 Jared "Big Fish" Fish. Jared pitched 3 innings and all 9 outs were strike outs.

vs. MSA
The Hens hosted the very tough MSA Black. The Hens fought hard, but came up on the losing end of a 12-3 game. #30 Drew "Sheck" Sheckell & #33 Blake "BK" Kocsis received their first pitching assignments of the year. Both were effective finding the strike zone often. The "Chips Ahoy" award for outstanding effort and achievement went to #30 Drew Sheckell for his 2 hits and effective pitching.

The Hens traveled to Northville to take on the Broncos. The Hens faithful were treated to masterful pitching performances by co-players of the game #54 Dillon "DC" Champagne & #5 Jadyn "Hodger" Hodges. Timely hitting and baserunning helped the feathered ballplayers earn a 6-2 victory.

The Hens traveled to Ypsilanti to face a hard throwing Mustang squad. After a hard fought back & forth affair, the Hens dropped a tough 7-6 decision. Top performers were #7 Colin "The Reaper" Repasky for 3 solid innings on the mound and #3 Jack "Polli" Politowicz for nice at-bats and solid play at 2B.

vs. Livonia Titans
The Hens hosted a determined Titans team. Faithful fans of the feathered youngsters were not disappointed as the Hens posted a hard fought 9-8 victory. The Hens were led by game ball winner #32 Jared Fish. Jared was on fire at the plate posting 3 hits. Jared brought the fans to their feet with a 1st inning triple. He earned his second save in a row on the mound, threw a runner out at 2B from CF, and scored the winning run in the 5th inning. "Chips Ahoy" award winners for outstanding effort & achievement went to #54 Dillon Champagne & #10 Ben Kucharski.

vs. Howell Hawks
The Hens hosted a very talented and aggressive Howell Hawks club. The Hens were up to the challenge and posted a come from behind 7-6 victory. The Hens were led by #54 slugger Dillon Champagne who hit two in the gap doubles. Big hits were also delivered by newcomer #10 Ben Kucharski, #3 Jack Politowicz, #5 Jadyn Hodges, #33 Blake Kocsis, and #30 Drew Sheckell. Solid outings were posted by pitchers #9 Dov Seifman, #54 Dillon Champagne, and #32 Jared Fish. Player of the game honors go to #7 Colin Repasky for his game ending on-the-run catch in RF.

vs. Canton Cardinals
The Hens faced a very determined Canton Cardinal team and ended up on the losing end 9-1. Highlights included a strong showing from rookie Right Hander #7 Colin Repasky. Colin pitched 1 1/3 innings of strong baseball finding the strike zone often. Colin was aided by strong play in RF by #1 Blake Bean who made a nice catch and a strong throw to the center of the diamond to keep a runner at third base. Newcomer and hard throwing Right Hander #5 Jadyn Hodges made his first appearance on the mound. Jadyn had a commanding mound presence.

vs. Saline Slam
The boys got the season off to a good start with a 12-1 victory. The Hens were led by newcomer #9 Dov Seifman. Dov pitched 3 scoreless innings and hit a bases loaded double to earn game ball honors. Veteran southpaw #32 Jared Fish threw 2 strong innings allowing only 1 run.
Baseball pack winners for outstanding effort & achievement were awarded to newcomer #33 Blake Kocsis & #8 veteran Charlie (Chuck) Ciaramitaro.
