Past "Champions"
The following information is from Fall 1999 until present only. It does not include any information prior to Fall 1999 since I was not involved in middle school soccer at that point.
The Middle Grades Soccer League was a developmental pure league up until the Fall of 2005. That season, the league officially went to a playoff tournament to determine a league champion. Baldi Middle School, was officially the inaugural champions.
Prior to that, the "Champion" was decided un-officially with the final records of the top 5 or 6 strongest schools who played a minimum of 6-8 games being compared and the team with the best winning % considered
un-official champions.
Below is a list year by year beginning in 1999 of the teams with the best winning % and/or who won official championships.
1999= Best winning % = Baldi Most wins = Central East
2000= Best winning % = Tied = Baldi and Conwell Most wins = Conwell
2001 = Best winning % = Baldi Most wins = Central East
2002 = Best winning % = Central East Most wins = Central East
2003 = Best winning % = Baldi Most wins = Baldi
2004 = Best Winning % = Tied = Baldi and Conwell Most wins = Conwell
2005 = Official Playoffs began:
Northeast Division Champions = Baldi
Northwest Division Champions = Central East
Central East Division Champions = Conwell
Southern Division Champions = Vare MS
League Champions = C.C.A. BALDI
2006 =
Northeast Division Champions = Wilson
Northwest Division Champions = Feltonville A+S (formally Central East MS)
Central East Division Champions = Conwell
Southern Division Champions = Pepper
League Champions = PEPPER
2007 =
Northeast Division Champions = Wilson
North 1 Division Champions = Feltonville A+S
North 2 Division Champions = Greenfield
