History of the Red Wings
The NASA 94 Red Wings team started in the Fall of 2004 in Northwest Austin to provide an avenue for young multiple sport athletes to play competitive soccer against the Select level clubs. Starting at the Under 11 age, the players were not necessarily ready to commit strictly to soccer. In their inaugural season, the Red Wings fielded a team of 15 players and finished second with a record of 7-1 leading the league with 34 goals scored while allowing only 9 goals against.
