2009 SEASON PREVIEW Guestbook | Search | Weather

It is going to be a big year for the Sacramento Braves in 2009. We are trying to make it 3 World Series Championships in a row. But before we head off to AZ in October we have to take care of business in our local leagues and holiday tournaments. We will be having teams in many leagues and age divisions in 2009.

We will be having two teams (Sacramento Braves and Sacramento Tribe) playing in the NABA 38AA division for the 2009 season. Having two teams will give us the best chance to spread all the playing time around and keep all of us sharp. We will also be putting in a team in the Sacramento MSBL Summer 2009 season. It will be the first time we will be having a team in the 35+ division. We will still be having our normal spot in the 18+ division. We will also have a collection of players playing with the Sacramento Pirates in the Sacramento MSBL Spring season and Woodland/Davis MSBL Summer season.

Our younger team will be making a special trip to play a DH at San Quentin Prison vs the San Quentin Pirates and San Quentin Giants. It should be a good test on our mental make-up. We will be most likely be playing in tournaments for Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekend. Then it will be off to AZ.
