UCYSL Weather Hotline
UCYSL will determine field closures due to rain or wet conditions for our home fields by 7:00 am on game day. It is against New Haven Unified School District School policy to play on wet fields. If we close fields, it will be announced on our league line, which is 510-714-4703. We determine field closure only for our fields, so it does not apply to your away games.

Player Age Martix
Moving forward UCYSL teams are being formed according to the age of the player making the team "Age Pure". This means every player on a team is in the same birth year according to the marix chart. This process allows players to compete at their appropriate age. It also protects our younger teams from the older ones. Older teams can not recruit a younger player off of a younger team.

Newark field locations
For any U12 or U14 teams playing games in Newark, there is a layout for the Sportsfield facility located at the intersection of Mowry Ave and Cherry St. and a map showing the location of McGregor field. These diagrams are located on the Newark Soccer Club website:
