The Victory Fastpitch of Santa Rosa 10U Gold team won the USSSA State Championship Tournament in Hayward on the weekend of November 23rd - 25th! The team finished the tournament without a loss and outscored their opponents by a combined score of 47-5!
This tremendous accomplishment was the culmination of a very successful 2007 season. The team played in 12 tournaments, winning 5 championships and placing 2nd four times. They had a combined record of 50-12 and outscored their opponents 435-146!!

10U GOLD TEAM WINS CHAMPIONSHIP IN SACRAMENTO!
The Victory Fastpitch of Santa Rosa 10U Gold team won the Championship Game in the Sacramento Tournament on the weekend of November 3rd - 4th. The team finished with a 6-0 record in the tournament and outscored their opponents by a combined score of 58-9! They trailed in both the semi-final and championship games, but fought back and won both games. By finishing first, they qualified for the USSSA Fall State Championships in November in Fremont and for the USSSA 2008 World Series in July in Florida!
10U GOLD TEAM WINS CHAMPIONSHIP IN SAN JOSE!
The Victory Fastpitch of Santa Rosa 10U Gold team won the Championship Game in the San Jose Tournament on the weekend of October 6th - 7th. The team finished with a 5-1 record in the tournament. They avenged their only loss in pool play by beating the same team in an 8 inning thriller!
10U GOLD FALL TEAM GOES TO CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IN TURLOCK AND QUALIFIES FOR NSA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS!
The Victory Fastpitch of Santa Rosa 10U Gold team made it to the Championship Game in the Turlock Tournament on the weekend of September 22nd - 23rd. Two of their opponents in pool play were 12U teams. They beat the eventual champions on Saturday and Sunday, but lost to them in the championship game. By finishing second, they qualified for the NSA Fall State Championships in November in Yuba City and for the NSA 2008 World Series in July in Reno.
10U GOLD TEAM WINS CHAMPIONSHIP IN VALLEJO!
The Victory Fastpitch of Santa Rosa 10U Gold team won the Championship Game in the Vallejo Tournament on the weekend of August 18th - 19th. They dominated their opponents with a combined score of 50-2. The team finished with a 5-0 record and 3 shutouts in the tournament and they have a combined record of 26-3 in their last 29 games!

The Victory Fastpitch of Santa Rosa 14U team won the Championship Game in the Davis Tournament on the weekend of August 4th - 5th. Down by 3 runs with 2 outs in the 7th inning, they rallied for 6 runs to win the game! The team finished with a 4-0-2 record in the tournament.
10U GOLD TEAM GOES TO CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IN SANTA CLARA!
The Victory Fastpitch of Santa Rosa 10U Gold team made it to the Championship Game in the Santa Clara Tournament on the weekend of July 28th - 29th. The game was tied 1-1 until the 4th inning, but they lost it in the end 3-1. With two outs in the last inning, they appeared to have a game tying hit, but the game ended on a very close call! The team finished 5-1 in the tournament and outscored their opponents 60-11.

10U GOLD TEAM WINS SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD! The Victory Fastpitch of Santa Rosa 10U Gold team (players, coaches and parents) was awarded the Dave Bickel Sportsmanship Award at the Summer Classic Tournament in Rohnert Park on the weekend of July 21st - 22nd. Dave Bickel, who has been umpiring for 33 years, addressed the team and told them that their great sportsmanship is among the top 3 teams he has ever umpired for. Taylor Mulholland and Presley Williams were given special awards for their individual sportsmanship. Congratulations to Taylor, Presley, the entire team, coaches and parents!

10U BLACK TEAM GOES TO SEMI-FINAL GAME IN SUNNYVALE! The Victory Fastpitch of Santa Rosa 10U Black team made it to the semi-final game in the Sunnyvale Tournament on the weekend of July 7th - July 8th. They lost to the #1 seed and finished the tournament with a 3-2 record.
16U TEAM WINS CONSOLATION CHAMPIONSHIP IN SUNNYVALE! The Victory Fastpitch of Santa Rosa 16U team won the consolation bracket championship at the Sunnyvale Tournament on the weekend of July 7th - July 8th. After a tie and two close losses in pool play, they won 10-1 in the consolation bracket championship game.
10U GOLD TEAM MEETS ARIZONA'S SAM BANISTER The Victory Fastpitch of Santa Rosa 10U Gold team met Sam Banister from the 2007 NCAA champion Arizona Wildcats. Sam, who is from Petaluma, was in attendance at the Petaluma tournament on June 16th and 17th.
