First, here is a complete list of the competitions for the 2013 season.

Welcome to Waltham Pop Warner Cheerleading!  Please read below for important cheer information.

All paperwork must be filled out and turned in with report card, birth certificate, and physical before August 1st.

Practice:

We start practice on August 1st. we practice from 5:30-7:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
for the month of August. After Labor Day we switch to 3 nights a week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, same times.
E and F team coaches will let you know there practice schedule.

We ask that you spray your child with bug spray before they come to practice, we are NOT allowed to spray your child.
We also ask that you send your child with a water bottle, and a towel for stretching. 

We will do show's at the end of certain weeks, for parents and family to see what the children have learned and been working on.

Half way through September we will move inside to a local school gym. (Usually Kennedy Middle School)


Absences: we allow 4 in the month of August, and 3 after Labor Day till end of season.

If you are going to be absent, please notify your head coach. Head coaches emails will be given out the first week of
practice.

Games:

 All cheer squads cheer at games, we cheer in the rain, and in the snow. Games are mandatory. Games start the Sunday
after Labor day and run for 8 Sunday's.  When we have the finalized game schedule, it will be posted on the website under 
schedules.

If the team they cheer for makes play off's, we cheer for them.

Competitions:

All teams go to competition. E and F team only go to one competition, they don't compete. E team goes to the first competition.
and F team goes to the competition at the end of October. D, C, B, and A teams compete, if they win they move on to the next competition. The schedule for this season is already on the website.

Teams:

Teams are made by the Cheer Director and Assistant Director, not by parents, children or coaches. 

If you have any concerns, issues or questions please see the cheer director or assistant director, please don't bother the coaches while they are working with the children.
