Code of Conduct
The Wayne County Soccer Association Code of Conduct has authority over any event sponsored by Wayne County Soccer Association. The Code of Conduct also applies to all teams and its individual participants who are associated with Wayne County Soccer Association when participating in practice or other events in which they represent Wayne County Soccer Association.
The Code
1. The use of any alcoholic beverage, illicit drug, or tobacco within the confines of the playing field or practice field by any player, coach, referee, or official is prohibited. Smoking is prohibited on or around any playing fields at any time.
2. Profanity or throwing of equipment is prohibited.
3. There will be no taunting of the members of the other team or referees.
4. No action will be taken that in the opinion of the referee or coach will adversely effect the health and safety of one or all of the participants.
Penalties for Violation
Any violation could result in the immediate dismissal from from the match or program. The seriousness of the violation and circumstances surrounding it will be considered when assessing penalties. The board of directors of Wayne County Soccer will have final authority in assesment of penalties.
Kidsafe Program
All adults participating in the Wayne County Soccer Association must agree to be subject to a legally sensitive background check before or during the program operations.
