    Brian Joros Head Coach -161-89 .640 winning %
    Coach Joros is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, and is a Center Grove High School graduate, class of 1993. After a senior season that saw him named as an All-State Centerfielder, Joros put up a batting .437 batting average, hitting 5 home runs and stealing 19 bases. As the No.1 pitcher Joros went 4-1, with a 2.17 era, striking out 84 in 51 innings, and threw a no-hitter against the #4 team in the state. Joros set an Indiana High School state record by stealing 5 bases in a playoff game his senior season, though his #1 state ranked team was upset in the Final 8.

    Coach Joros played one year as a pitcher and outfielder at Olney Central Junior College, located in Illinois. At OCC Joros was the #2 starter, winning 8 games, with a 2.76 era. Joros also played as the everyday right fielder and batted third, making first team All-Conference. Joros batted .338 with a team high 6 home runs, 5 triples, and 47 RBI's. After the one year Coach Joros transferred to Purdue University where he completed his final 3 years in his college career as a left handed pitcher. Coach Joros considers a few of his collegiate highlights to be: Pitching against top opponents Michigan, Notre Dame, Florida, Jacksonville, Stetson, and Ohio State, throwing a 9-inning 1-hitter at Olney CC, and twice leading the Boilermakers in strikeouts per nine innings. Other highlights were pitching against Cardinals Ace Mark Mulder,(Michigan State) and Seattle Mariner Closer J.J. Putz. (Michigan) Coach Joros finished his 3 years at Purdue with a 4.13 era and 7 saves.

    After graduating from Purdue in 1998 with a bachelor degree in Education, Joros was named the first Head Coach at brand new Celebration High School at the age of 23. In three years at Celebration, Joros won two district titles and finished the inaugural 1999 season in the Sweet 16. In 2000 the team finished in the Elite 8, one pitch from the Final 4. In three years at Celebration, Joros' teams were 25-4 in district play, and the Class 1A Celebration School defeated 4 top 5A teams. Joros sent 5 of his former Celebration players on to compete in College baseball, and was named Coach of the Year in Osceola County in 2000.

    In 2001 Coach Joros was named the first Head Coach at Boynton Beach High School. In 2003 Boynton Beach had one of the best seasons Palm Beach County has seen, going 29-7, and finishing in the Final Four in Class 5A. Coach Joros was named Palm Beach Post, Sun-Sentinel, and FACA 5A Coach of the Year. In 2004 the Tigers Finished 17-9, winning the Kissimmee Classic, while finishing as runners up in tournaments in Key West and California, and winning the PBC Central Conference. The 2003 and 2004 Tigers were ranked as high as 3rd in the state polls, and were in the Top 10 in the state the majority of both years. Coach Joros went 57-31 as the Head Coach for the Tigers in his 3 years at Boynton, and three players, Josh Bell (Dodgers, 4th round) Albert Laboy (Pirates, 14th Round) Andres Diaz (Twins 33rd Round) were drafted.

    Moving on to start his 3rd new High School program, Coach Joros left for West Boca Raton. In his first three years at West Boca the Bulls are 62-21, including 29-6 in district play. The Bulls won the 2006 regular season district championship, (10-0) the Palm Beach County Southern Conference Championship,(4-0) and the very competitive 2006 Key West tournament. The 2006 Bulls finished 22-4. The 2007 Bulls took the next step for the program by winning the first District Championship in School history, reached the regional finals (Final 8) with an excellent record of 26-5 (12-0 in district play) The Bulls were again Key West Tourney Champions, again beating the Conchs in their own tournament. The Bulls were also co-conference champions. 9 of 10 Bulls seniors committed to play College baseball, making it 14 of 15 graduation Bulls Seniors to be signed to play Collegiately. In his 9 years as a Head Coach, Coach Joros has sent 80% of all Seniors graduating under his direction to play Collegiate Baseball, including all 5 Bulls Seniors signing in 2006, and 9 of 10 in 2007.

    Personal: Coach Brian Joros was born December 12th, 1974, In Hammond, Indiana. Joros' parents are Jim Joros, a Middle School Principal in Fort Worth, Texas, and Carole Wobler, a retired teacher, who resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Coach Joros also has a sister, Jill, who is a teacher in Indianapolis. Joros was married to his wife, Tina (Urbanski), July 28, 2001. The Joros' have a 3 year old son, Xander. The Joros' reside in Wellington, Florida.

    Coach Kovach was born February 12, 1982 in West Palm Beach, Florida. His parents are John and Jackie Kovach, and he has 2 brothers; Clint, a former Coach Joros assistant and Head Coach at Boynton, and Cameron., a student at Florida University. Coach Kovach attended Lake Worth High School, playing catcher, outfield and shortstop for the Trojans. In his junior year Coach Kovach led the Trojans in batting average and stolen bases while leading the team to the District Finals. Unfortunately they missed the Regional tournament losing to eventual state champions Wellington, and #1 draft pick Bobby Bradley. Coach Kovach played numerous years with a travel team known as the Yard Dawgs, as the starting catcher. Leading the team emotionally and with the bat Coach Kovach became a very accomplished catcher. Being known as a hard nosed, tough player, Coach Kovach once caught a double header with a broken thumb sustained during the first game when he was hit by a bat. Coach Kovach was the JV Head Coach at Boynton beach, and was a top Assistant on the Tigers 2003 Final Four team. Coach Kovach assisted for 2 more years at Boynton beach before rejoiningg Coach Joros as an Assistant Coach at West Boca Raton.
    After High School, Coach Kovach went to EMT school, followed by the Fire Academy and Paramedic School. After graduating from Fire School in 2002 and Paramedic School in 2004, he now works for the Boynton Beach Fire Department as a Firefighter/Paramedic.
