TFA Cincinnati Queen City Champions
May 28th, 2012
We traveled to Cincinnati over the Memorial Day weekend to wrap up our last full season as a team. Our expectation was to have fun and enjoy the weekend together playing soccer. We were able to bring home a championship but more importantly we were able to spend quality time with friends and family. We enjoyed an awesome cookout provided by Sawyers Grandfather and friends, we watched the 2012 video and looked back in time by watching old videos from past seasons. We will miss Caleb, Jordan and Kyle as they move on from our team. We wish everyone a safe and happy summer. Hope to see the rest of you at Tryouts on June 5th and 7th. |

Clarksville Fusion Spring Shootout Finalists
May 20th, 2012
We attended the Clarksville Fusion Spring Shootout and faced some very familiar teams. The quality of the games were excellent and the deciding match was played against the TNFC Rovers. It was a hard fought battle and in the end the Rovers prevailed 3-2. Even though we would have liked to take home the champions trophy we were pround to see Coach Drew gain a championship victory in his last game with his team. |

SKY WKONA Classic Champions
May 6th, 2012
After winning our first two (2) matches we advanced to the championship game against a good SKY 99 team. We trailed the game 2-0 in the first 10 minutes but fought back to tie the game 3-3 in the final minute of regulation. After two (2) scoreless Extra Time sessions we won the game on PK's. This was one of the most exciting games we have ever played as a team. We never gave up! |

Music City Invitational Finalists
April 22nd, 2012
The weather was a little damp and cool at the Harpeth Music City Invitational which was played at Metro Center. We won two (2) games and tied one (1) to advance to the championship game. WE lost a tough game to a talented WKYFC 97 Team. |

|
SRFC Spring Shootout Champions
March 25th, 2012
We dodged the rain and the weekend turned out better than expected. The team was able to move forward to the Championship game with a win and a tie to face a tough TNFC Crew team. We played to a 2-2 tie the day before so the Championship game was a perfect chance to see who would prevail. We held on to our two (2) point lead by playing stingy defense. The first goal was a perfect execution of a cross and header between Mark and Dillon. The second goal was created by an off the bar shot by Mark with a "hustle" followup goal by Kyle.

Tennessee State Div III Tournament
November 13th, 2011
Dear players and parents,
I think you all saw how emotional I got when addressing the fact that we had made our first state final since we formed the team many years ago. When I look back at the tiny faces that used to look up at me as U9 boys, then to see these young men who have made this journey, it made me feel very proud of this team and all associated with the program. We have a talented group of players and a very SPECIAL set of parents. Simply put, you mean the world to me.
Unfortunately we did not bring home the top prize of State champions, but the efforts of the boys and the way they conducted themselves this past weekend need to go down as a one of the best performances in the teams already special history.
We now close off the 2011 season as Division 3 Tennessee State runners up and that should feel pretty good for everyone.
I wish each and every person associated with the program a happy Thanksgiving and hope to see all of you sometime around Christmas time where we intend to have a great get together and reflect on the boys great achievment this past weekend.
Love you boys!
Coach John

SRFC Spring Shootout Champions
Spring 2011 - Champions It wasn't the best weekend for soccer due to the weather but the team performed well with three (3) victories and no goals allowed. Saturday began with a victory over a team that we are very familiar with, the TN United Blue. This team improves each time we play them but we looked very sharp with a great defensive effort followed by goal scoring when needed.
For the second game on Saturday we faced the Nashville Galaxy. This team was solid all the way around and once again we proved that we are very capable on both sides of the ball. The only score of the game was on a PK after a take down in the box. This was an excellent team effort against a very talented Div 2 team.
Lastly on Sunday we faced another Div 2 team the TNFC Crew. It was rather chilly and with the shortened game length and their points lead going into the match we knew this would be a difficult task. We had more shots on goal and earned the corner that eventually was force headed in their goal by their player as an on-goal. That goal proved to be the difference in securing our win and the Championship. Good job team!

Coaches Notes:
Dear boys (and lady),
Your coaching staff are very proud of you tonight. What a tremendous display of technical application along with fighting spirit and sound tactical awarness.
You TRULY won the tournament and deserved to be crowned CHAMPIONS. Bad weather, time restraints and teams being awarded points for not playing a game made our job real tough. Throw in the fact that we had to play ALL 3 games and against two teams at the Div 2 level, makes those victories that more special.
The defense has to take a lot of credit with the fact that they did not conceed one goal all weekend. The midfielders and strikers tend to get all the glory because they are the ones that put the ball in the back of the net, but without solid back up, it makes it tough to win. Good teams are not going to let you score many goals. That's exactly what happened in games 2 and 3 with us only managing to score a single goal in each game. However, because of a water tight defense it was good enough to secure a total of 16 points to overtake the TNFC Crew for the title.
We are so pleased that the work we are doing in practice is showing up on the field.
FANTASTIC JOB GUYS!
Coach John and Coach Matt

Bash in the Boro Champions
Fall 2010 - Champions
The team finished the season just like it started with a tournament championship this weekend in Murfreesboro. The overall team effort was fabulous with three (3) victories and no goals allowed.
Our Saturday started out with Brentwood Select which defeated us in the BWSC tournament a few months earlier. We defeated BW Select 3-0. Our first game set the tone for the rest of the day and we defeated Nashville Galaxy 2-0 in a hard fought match. Galaxy was a very technical team but we were able to outlast them physically.
We went into Sundays game against the TNFC Rovers knowing that we needed a victory to win the championship. The Rovers played very hard and the game was tight most of the first half until Caleb scored on a corner delivered by Mark. The Rovers pressed us hard during the game but our defense played great and we were able to keep them out of the goal. We added two (2) more goals in the second half to preserve the victory 3-0.
This was a great way to end our fall season. KUDOS to the team! |

Clarksville Queen City Classic Champions
| Fall 2010 - Champions
What a fabulous weekend of soccer. We traveled to Clarksville to compete in the Queen City Classic where we have been successful in previous outings. We played in a combination 97/98 Bracket and knew the competition of older teams would be tough.
We began the tournament on Saturday with a 4-0 loss to a tough FC Alliance 97 team from Knoxville followed by a 6-0 victory over the familiar Clarksville 98 Royals team to secure a spot in the Semi-Finals.
The Semi-Final match was against the 1st Place team from the opposite bracket the Columbia 97 Arsenal. We performed well as a team and won the game 3-0 to advance to the Finals for a rematch against the FC Alliance 97 team. FC Alliance jumped out on top 1-0 but before the end of the first half we had scored two (2) goals to take the lead. The second half was s tough defensive battle as we played against the slope and the wind. We emerged victorious to win the championship with a 2-1 victory. All credit goes to the team!

COACHES NOTES
Hi Everyone,
VERY, VERY PROUD is how I would describe how I feel currently, due to the events of this past weekend. I have a team who does not know how to quit and will fight for each other every inch of the way.
Having lost 4-0 to a side who is an age older, who compete at the Division 2 level AND who were beaten finalists at the State level, then to come back 24 hours later and beat them in the final says it all.
I had a game plan on how we could possibly beat this team, but it has to be the players who ultimately make it happen. Every person had a job to do and stuck to a disciplined structure that made for a great performance and HUGE result. Looking back I think that this Championship win is probably the best and most gratifying game I've coached with the Revolution.
To all of my players I want to say "Thank you" for having faith in me. I knew that if we played to our potential and stayed focussed, I had the talent and spirit within the club to pull off this shock victory. This is exactly what happened.
We have one week left before we close out the season. I hope you guys are sitting at home this evening having a feeling of pride in yourself and your team mates. Let's take this wonderful performance and use it to have a tremendous last week of practices, plus gain confidence that we can feed off in our final tournament.
BRILLIANT GUYS, BRILLIANT!!!
See you on Tuesday
Coach John

Brentwood Invitational Champions
Fall 2010 - Champions
After a big weekend in Georgia we traveled to play in the Brentwood Invitational tournament. We begin the tournament with a loss to the Brentwood Select team 3-0. We bounced back in the second game to defeat the Ambasadors from Briarwood Alabama in a nail biting 1-0 win. This victory moved us into second place and placed us in the semifinals against the number one seed from the other bracket, Huntsville Futbol Club.
HFC scored first and we were able to even the match and force overtime. We scored in the first minute of OT and went on to hold off HFC and secure a spot in the final match.
We faced a tough FC Alliance team from Knoxville and fell behind 1-0 at the half. We recovered nicely and proved that we had heart by finishing the game with a 3-1 victory and secured the championship. Visit the Photo Album for pictures from the tournament weekend. |

Kennesaw GA Fall Classic Champions
Fall 2010 - Champions
Our trip to Kennesaw proved to be everything we hoped it would be and more. The team exceeded expectations in everyway. Our first game on Saturday was played against a very good Galaxy team from Atlanta. We were able to pull out a 2-0 victory and press on to our second game against Cartersville Ga which we handily won 7-0.
On Sunday we played a strong KFC Ga team (Host Team) and won 4-0. We played Rome Ga for our last game of the tournament which had a stingy defense but we solidified our championship by winning 2-0.
The team played great all weekend by scoring 15 goals and not allowing any. This was a great defensive effort followed up by a powerful offense. We hope everyone enjoyed the fellowship and tournament play this weekend.

Coaches Notes
Hi Everyone,
You have a very happy and contented coach speaking to you today. After our long journey to Atlanta, we came away with EVERYTHING that I was hoping would happen.
If you remember are goals for the trip were as follows:
1) To have a fun time
2) To compete well on the pitch
3) Show our hosts that we were a well behaved set of players and parents
We did have a great time. I loved the fact that many of the new parents got chance to know everyone a little better during the hour we had before dinner on Saturday evening. The "pool fight" with the players versus the coaching staff and Dad's was once again so much fun. I do have to say that apart from Max's Dad (David), Mark Smith and myself, I was disappionted that we didn't get the support of the US military (where were you Gary and Jimmy?). As usual the kids were well beaten (if only).
What more can you say about the team, when they went on to win our age bracket with four wins out of four. We scored a total of 15 goals and never gave up a single goal. As I said after our last game, I am blown away how quick the team has knitted together in such a short period of time. I was so pleased for Jordan, Max, Arturo, Carter, Devin, Kyle and David Harrell in winning their first medals for the club.
Once again we did all the above in a very dignified manner. Both on and off the pitch I felt that were earned respect, but not at the cost of being unsportsmanlike and just there to win at all cost. Our parents were class and the players were strong, disciplined and played some real solid soccer in terms of ball possession.
You are all a credit to yourself, your respective communities and the club.
BRILLIANT GUYS!!!!
We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday!!

Second Place Finish at WH Fall Classic
Fall 2008 - Finalists
We fell short of our expectations but it was a great weekend for soccer. We started out hot against the HFC Hurricanes Black leading 2-0 at the half but we went flat in the second half and lost 4-2. Next we faced Donelson and scraped out a 6-3 win. Lastly we were able to hold on to the shutout of KFC Argentina Classic and win seond place. The boys played hard and deserved to take home some hardware.

Bash in the Boro Champions
Fall 2007 - Champions
What a way to end our season by winning a Championship medal and playing so well all weekend. It started with Logan between the posts only allowing one goal in all four games and having his best game in the final. In front of him were Sawyer and Matthew who prevented opposition strikers from raining shots in and cleared the ball very well. Protecting those guys were Parker, Gage, Christian and Owen who consistently won the ball and drove us forward with quality distibution. Then there were the striking partnerships of Caleb and Ben and Anthony and Mark who made some terrific passing combinations that had opposition defenses spinning around in confusion. This led to finishing of the highest order at the level of soccer our boys play in. What pleased the coaching team most was the very few errors that the team made. EVERYONE did their job and all of those small pieces of individual competence set the platform to put in some terrific team displays.
We now have a "rest" until the start of the new Spring season which will probably get underway in late February or early March in terms of practice. Just before we finally put up our cleats this year, we have our team get together this coming Saturday which will be aimed at having some great fun with a cook out and the already famous team versus Dad's game. Logan maybe released to play some outfield positions leaving room for an up and coming goalkeeper named coach John. Watch this space for that.
Hope everyone can make it on Saturday and that the weather stays fine for our end of season party. GREAT JOB BOYS!!!
Coach John

What a weekend! We went 3-0 and brought home a Championship! 2nd Place Finish at Adidas Cup of Champions
Fall 2006 - Finalists
If nail biters are what you like then you would have witnessed your type of game when the White House Storm played Paducah, Kentucky on Sunday. Going into the last bracket game of the tournament the Storm needed two (2) tournament points to wrap up a Second Place finish and it took every ounce of energy to make it happen. Paducah scored the first goal of the game with only 9 minutes to go in the second half. With less than a minute to go in the game, Coach Lees decided to make a "go for broke" move and he pulled the Goalie Anthony out of the goal to press their defense. Anthony was able to drive through the Paducah defenders and kick the game tying goal past the stingy Paducah Goalie. The tie was good for four (4) tournament points which vaulted the Storm over Clarksville Impact 98 and secured the Second Place finish.
