The following kids were instrumental in building the success of the Wichita Aztecs Program. They were picked as Legends for several reasons,
1st Their success on and off the field
2nd Their loyalty to the Aztecs
3rd Their dedication and hardwork
4th Putting the Aztecs Program on the map, setting the bar for the rest to follow. Being the 1st to travel and compete against the best in the midwest.
We will honor some of them by retiring their jersey numbers, and inducting them into the Aztecs Hall Of Fame. Some will be placed in because of the accomplishment and success of their teams. Others on the merit of their work.
There will also be a section set aside for the Original Aztecs. Players that were there from the conception of the Program. The first team consisted of 23 kids, mixed from 2nd to 4th grade. They played in the 4th Grade Division against teams that had already been together since the 2nd grade. They finish 4-6 their first year.
We will be updating all of the info in the weeks to come please stay tuned.
