4S Ranch Youth Roller Hockey

 

Please contact the Recreation office at (858) 673-3900 for current information on youth hockey or to inquire about volunteer opportunities.

Currently looking for Volunteers to lead our Youth Hockey program.  Teach skills and organize youth hockey on Saturday mornings.

Background checks and fingerprints will be required for all volunteers.


ALL PARTICPANTS ARE WELCOME REGARDLESS OF SKATING ABILITIES!!! Morning skate clinics available to teach hockey skills and skating. Games follow shortly after to practice the skills learned in clinic. Even if your child has never skated before, now is the chance to get him or her started.

You can get your gear at the Play It Again Sports (Mira Mesa). Tell them you are with 4S Ranch Youth Hockey.

Some loaner gear available, skates, shin guards, elbow pads. Some helmets may be available, but it is best to get your own.

All youth particiapants are required to wear protective clothing:

Helmet with face cage
Mouth guard
Hockey gloves
Elbow pads
Hockey shin pads
Pants to cover shin pads
Padded girdle
Protective cup for males
Inline hockey skates or street
skates with no brakes
Hockey stick (cut to length)
