State of Illinois - Adopt-A-Highway

Troop 318 supports the a clean environment by sponsoring the State of Illinois Adopt-A-Highway program.  The program has sponsors assigned to a two mile stretch of road to be cleanup.  The troop has the 2 miles of LaGrange road from 135th street to 159th street. We try to hold at least 2 cleanup dates in the year (one in Spring & Fall).
 
 

New Highway Signs

The State of Illinois has update the Apdot-A-Highway program, to Love the Land Of Lincoln.   The State has updated all of the highway signs.  This sign is at south bound lane of 135th & LaGrange road (about 100 feet before the light).
