Players will be placed on division teams in accordance with the weight and age eligibility chart.  Any player weighing 5% or more over maximum weight at time of official physical examination will be assigned to the next weight division, if age permits.  Any player weighing more than certified weight but less than 5% may be assigned to a higher division at the discretion of the Chapter Athletic Director of Commissioner.   Please note: When placing a player in a Division, per conference rules, we must go by the weight on the player’s physical form turned in.

Each player must make weight for division/age by the first Conference Weight Certification date.  Any player that is over the weight limit will be noted on the Team Red Roster and shall have until the Second Conference Weight Certification Date to make that weight.  If the player fails to make weight by the Second Conference Certification date, that player will be lined off the Team Red Roster and unable to play this season.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

** It is IMPORTANT to note, your child will be UNABLE to participate in ANY practice unil his/her ORIGINAL PHYSICAL has been turned in.**

Practices start Monday, July 24, 2017.
Please be at Community Park and ready by 6:00 pm.  Players must arrive wearing practice attire: t-shirt (with their last name printed on the back), black shorts, jock with cup, helmet, socks and rubber molded cleats (no screw-on or metal allowed).

Practices will be held Monday through Friday, 6 pm - 8pm or 6:30pm - 8:30 pm (depending on field location for the entire month of August. Players are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes early and are expected to attend EVERY practice.

In the month of September to the end of the season, practice is 3 days per week, Tuesday-Thursday 6:00pm – 8:00pm or 6:30pm.-8:30pm (the time a team practices depends on the field assignment).

The first week of practice (combine) each division will practice together.  There will be no contact the first week, only conditioning.  Each player MUST complete 10 hours of conditioning (Grass time) before he/she can participate in contact drills.  If a player misses a day the first week, he/she will NOT be allowed to dress in pads and participate in contact drills until his/her conditioning time is completed. This is a Conference rule and must be followed.

The second week of practice the players will put on pads and participate in contact drills.  After the 2nd day of contact, the draft will be held.  Once your player has been drafted, you will be contacted directly by the Head Coach or Assistant Coach for your team.  Please note there will be NO player movement after the draft.

Your coach will expect your child to attend every practice and to be on time!  It is possible that your child’s season could last from August to December!  Please schedule your vacations accordingly.  It is important to remember that you and your child have made a commitment to football. For your child to gain the most experience possible, he/she should attend every practice, be on time and prepared to play.  Any player who will miss practice MUST contact the Head Coach or Team AD prior to practice.

GAMES

Games will be held every Saturday.  Our home fields are Ayala High School and Chino Hills High School.  Our away games are in the Inland Empire (San Bernardino and Riverside Counties). Some locations are as far as North  as Apple Valley, as far east as Palm Desert, Coachella , and can be as far south as Murrieta.  If your child’s team makes the playoffs, it is possible your child will have games every Saturday through the first week of December (and this also includes Thanksgiving weekend). Super Bowl games may be played on a Sunday depending on playoff schedule.
