Memorial Knights

 

Memorial Knights Lacrosse Club West Houston The Memorial Knights Lacrosse Club, a new youth program in west Houston that will serve as the feeder program for Memorial and Stratford High Schools, is searching for a Head Coach/Director of Coaches. The successful candidate will serve as the Head Coach of the 8th grade team and will direct the coaches of the 5th/6th and 7th grade teams as they advance an articulated and cohesive developmental philosophy emphasizing lacrosse skills, passion for the game, character development, and sportsmanship. Cy-Fair Lacrosse Association

 

Cy-Fair Lacrosse Association - (Cypress/Houston TX) Coaches for all levels (4U thru 8th Grade) - Junior High & Young Guns Cy-Fair Ironmen Boys Lacrosse are actively searching for coaches at all levels. The club includes elite athletes as well as beginning players ranging from 3rd - 8th grades. The program consists of a 2 Young Guns teams (5th/6th grades) and Junior High teams (7th/8th grades). You will be supported by a committed administration, athletic director, head coach, and parent group. If your desire is to help shape a program, then this position(s) could be right for you. Candidates should have playing and/or coaching experience and desire to be a part of a quality staff and program constantly looking to improve. A positive attitude and enthusiasm for the sport and players is a must. The ideal candidate should be interested in building the program and molding individual talent into a championship team while emphasizing teamwork, fundamentals, good sportsmanship, leadership, and respect. Candidates must pass a background check and adhere to the coach's code of conduct. This is a competitively paid, part-time position requiring attendance at all practices, games and when requested, club board meetings. Woodlands

Coaches for all levels (Young Highlanders thru 8th Grade) - The Woodlands Junior High Boys Lacrosse Club (Houston, TX)
 
The Woodlands Junior High Boys Lacrosse Club is actively searching for coaches at all levels.   The club includes elite athletes as well as beginning players ranging from 1st - 8th grades. The program consists of a developmental program (Young Highlanders - 1st - 6th grades) and competitive teams for 5th/6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade.  The club has a board that provides a strong support system.  Requirements include lacrosse playing experience at the high school or preferably college level; coaching experience is preferable; strong leadership; motivational and organizational skills; a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the sport and players.  The ideal candidate should be interested in building the program and molding individual talent into a championship team while emphasizing teamwork, fundamentals, good sportsmanship, leadership, and respect.  Candidates are required to administer the program according to the principles and philosophy of the Junior High Lacrosse program director/head coach, the board of directors, and in accordance with the rules of the Greater Houston Youth Lacrosse Association. Friendswood

Friendswood High School DII Varsity head coach opening

 

Friendswood High School is looking for a qualified lacrosse coach for the Division II varsity team. This is a great opportunity to get varsity coaching experience, while being part of a great coaching staff. The school seeks to hire a qualified candidate that has a lacrosse background. NCAA playing experience preferred but not mandatory. Compensation is based upon experience and/or credentials.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Lacrosse playing experience (NCAA, MCLA, Juco, High School)
  • High lacrosse IQ to be able to teach the players
  • Ability to take and give direction
  • Ability to coach players that have already played in the Friendswood system
  • Previous coaching experience preferred
  • Available for all practices and games
  • Candidates must turn in three references from employers or other lacrosse involved parties
