Our Mission



  • The Islip Youth Lacrosse League mission is to encourage, foster and promote the growth of youth lacrosse in the Islip community for boys and girls from kindergarten through 8th grade.

  • We believe and support a child’s right to challenge themselves in the game of lacrosse and afford all players the opportunity to participate in the experience of the game.

  • We envision a future which offers people everywhere the opportunity to discover, learn, participate in, enjoy, and ultimately embrace the shared passion of the lacrosse experience.

  • We expect that everyone will encourage and support each player, for their skill, effort, and participation, and not for a team, a town or a game’s outcome.


    • Please treat every child as you would your own, as we all share the same enthusiasm –- the game of Lacrosse.
