1/ Motion to accept budget from Bob Weedon. Seconded by Owen Cooper. Carried.
-budget is similar to last year's cost wise
2/ Bob talked about bat rules for 2009. For league purposes (balls have not changed compression) bat rule will stay the same as last year.
3/ League starts week of May 4th.
4/ Proposal for 2009 schedule. 13 teams for gold and silver. Therefore scheduling of 3 pods, each team plays each other 1 night per year. Break off into pods and finish out the remainder of the schedule in your pod. Motion by Mike Taylor. Seconded by Colin Lewis. Discussion followed. Teams did not understand how this would affect playoffs. Also silver teams did not like the idea because they felt they could not compete with gold. Vote was held and it was a tie. Mike Taylor voted in favour and motion carried.
