Since 1959, Plymouth Little League (PLL) has been an all-volunteer organization chartered by Little League Baseball, Inc. of Williamsport, PA and governed by a Board of Directors. Our league has its own volunteer officers who collectively form the Board of Directors which organizes the baseball seasons and oversees day-to-day operations.

PLL is in Pennsylvania Little League District 22, which covers all of Montgomery County and includes 19 chartered leagues.

Facilities

Our home fields are located in East Plymouth Valley Park right off of Germantown Pike, in Plymouth Meeting PA. Although owned by the city of Plymouth Meeting, the fields and facilities are all maintained by our volunteers.

Facilities at East Plymouth Valley Park include 4 official Little League regulation fields, and our T-Ball field. The T-Ball games are played on the Plymouth Spartan football field. Field 1, located at the lower left end of the complex is for all Softball. Field 3 located right-center of the complex is for our Rookie (7-8), and Minor League division (9-10). Field 4, at the far end of the complex is for our Junior (13-14) and Senior (15-16) Baseball division. And finally Field 2, located in the center of our complex is home to our Major League (11-12) Division. Field 2 is lighted, and hosted last year’s Little League Pennsylvania State Championship.


PLL baseball programs for players 5-16 include:

T-Ball - Ages 5 & 6 - Games are played on the T-ball fields on the Plymouth Spartan football field. A soft T-ball is hit off a tee, all batters and base runners wear batting helmets and catchers wear full protective gear. No score or standings are kept.

Rookies - Ages 7 & 8 - Games are played on Little League field 3. A pitching machine is used for 3 innings, and the kids pitch for 3 innings. All batters and base runners wear batting helmets and catchers wear full protective gear.

Minors - Ages 9-10 - Games are played on Little League fields 2-3 and to Little League rules. All batters and base runners wear batting helmets and catchers wear full protective gear. Umpires officiate all games, scores are kept and the scoreboards are used.

Majors - Ages 11-12 - Games are played on Little League Field 2 and to Little League rules. All batters and base runners wear batting helmets and catchers wear full protective gear. Umpires officiate all games, scores are kept and the scoreboards are used.

Juniors - Ages 13 & 14 - Games are played on the regulation baseball Field 4 and to rules of baseball. All batters and base runners wear batting helmets and catchers wear full protective gear. Umpires officiate all games, scores are kept and the scoreboard is used.

Seniors - Ages 15 & 16 - Games are played on the regulation baseball Field 4 and to rules of baseball. All batters and base runners wear batting helmets and catchers wear full protective gear. Umpires officiate all games, scores are kept and the scoreboard is used.

PLL softball programs for players 5-16 include:

Juniors - Ages 13 & 14 - Games are played on Little League field 1 and to rules of baseball. All batters and base runners wear batting helmets and catchers wear full protective gear. Umpires officiate all games, scores are kept and the scoreboard is used.

Seniors - Ages 15 & 16 - Games are played on Little League field 1 and to rules of baseball. All batters and base runners wear batting helmets and catchers wear full protective gear. Umpires officiate all games, scores are kept and the scoreboard is used.


Board of Directors

The Board of Directors, which organizes the baseball seasons and oversees day-to-day operations, is made up of the officers of the Plymouth Little League.

The PLL Board of Directors meets every fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings, which are always open to the general membership, are held in Plymouth Township Building. They last approximately two hours. Please join us!
