Senior Athletic Awards

Westmont High School Sentinels Athletic Booster Club
Senior Athletic Awards

There are three major awards presented to the senior athletes every year at the Senior Athletic Banquet. We would like students to be aware of them to serve as goals to work toward during their high school career.

The Don Dibrita Award

This award was named for a former Booster Member and Westmont High School supporter. Don was generous and dedicated to our school and exemplified Westmont High School spirit. The award is given in Don’s memory to one male and one female senior athlete who most demonstrate the following characteristics (as determined by all coaches):
* Generous * Kind * Dedicated * Full of Heart * Enthusiastic
* Helpful to Teammates and other athletes * Spirited * Positive Attitude

The Dispensa Award

This award is named for John Dispensa Jr. who was one of the original founders of the WHS Booster Club in 1978. John served as the first vice-president and volunteered many hours of service in various capacities. This award represents the dedication and commitment that John gave to the athletic program. The Dispensa Award is given to all male and female senior athletes who have participated in three sports in all four years at Westmont High School.
