AMBASSADORS CUP
The Ambassadors Cup is awarded to the team that wins the season round-robin competition, formally known as the 'Southern Zone Competition'. Team with the most competition points wins the Cup. The trophy was presented to the first Southern Zone recipient Hutt Valley Chargers, by former United States Ambassador Dean Newman in 1992. The competition was renamed as the Ambassadors Cup Competition prior to 2003-2004 season.
