COYOTE FOOTBALL
Anna Coyote Football is officially over for this year!
We wanted to take this time to Thank ALL the participants and parents for a wonderful season. Bryan and I were talking about the season and what a great group of supporters our children have in their families. We were talking about the different participation levels amongst the different towns and wanted you guys to know that it is EASY to slip on an orange shirt because the tradition of winning has been set in their town. But it takes much more PRIDE to slip on a Purple shirt and support your kids even though their season might not have turned out to be what you or they expected. To continue to support your child, their team, the coaches, and your town while things are tough shows a tremendous amount of PACK PRIDE. Thank you so much to the parents who continued to bring their boys and girls out to the end. I am glad to be associated with so many of you who have the same desire, drive, and determination.
I want to tell everyone what a wonderful time we had at the party on Saturday night. David Thibodeaux’s place is wonderful and he let us take full advantage of its surroundings. Thank you David!!!! Also, to all my ghosts and goblins that helped on the haunted hayride – without you it would not have been such a success. Now let’s talk about our chain saw guy – HE WAS AMAZING!!! I have never laughed so hard in my life. He had folks wanting to bail off of that trailer – it was the best entertainment. Bryan and I had the best seats in the house for those rides (well except for Cotton on the first ride – hahahahaha). Also, the turn out was wonderful for food – you mom and dads rock and the number of kids there was fantastic. I can not tell you how excited I was to see everyone that showed up. It is a true testament again of the support that our kids have and every parent/guardian is the reason for that. I believe that there were a good 400+ that showed up for the party!!!!!! Also, I am not sure of the name because it kind of happened at the last minute but there is a cheerleader parent (I believe) that has a bounce house business and donated the bounce house, what a wonderful person. I am sorry I am not sure of your name but a big thanks your way as well. I know my daughter was wearing it out!!!
Please note that each individual person needs to turn in their equipment – you are responsible for it until it is turned in. We are going to go through each individual person and make sure to mark off the equipment checked out to what was turned in. PLEASE TURN IN HELMET, SHOULDER PADS, PRACTICE PANTS, AND GAME PANTS. YOU WILL ONLY KEEP THE JERSEY WITH THEIR NUMBER.
Again, I just want to thank ALL THE COACHES AND ASSITANTS that have been involved this year that took their time to help at practices and games for the boys (if I have left someone off I apologize now for that):
David Thibodeaux, Mr. Cegelski, Mr. Howard, Mr. Dixon, Cotton, David Rodriguez
Sean O’Neal, Arthur Scarr, Mark Leonard
Eddie Ferguson, Deon Ramsey, Jeff Frazier, Dwight LaGrone, Jeremiah
Jimmy Moreland, Mark Mansur, Mr. Hill, JD Rollins, and Mark Jones
Also all the volunteers for the gate, concessions, chain crew, press box, trash pick up – we appreciate all that you did!!!!
We are already looking to next year to see what we can change to make things better. Bryan has a meeting with the league and will discuss many issues we have and see what resolutions they have to offer. We will keep everyone posted about next year and look forward to having everyone back again.
To our exiting 6th graders we wish you all the best success!
GO COYOTES!!!!!!
Bryan and Lori Harris
