Bombers Orange/Blue 12U Win USTBA Fall Ball League @ BLD
The Bay Valley Bombers combined 11 players from their Orange and Blue teams and played Fall Ball at Manteca BLD presented by USTBA/Manteca Heat. The Bombers were the #1 seed in the 1st half going 6 wins, 0 losses. They won the first half playoff game to be assured of going to the Championship Game. It was much of the same in the scond half. They once again had a perfect record and won the 2nd half playoff matchup. Therefore, since the Bombers won both halves, they were deemed Champions and no Wednesday game will be necessary. They went 12 wins and 0 losses in the event.
The Bombers 13/14's won their league going 12 wins 1 loss.
The Bombers 9/10's took 2nd place going 11 wins and 2 losses.

The Bombers Orange 12U played in the TPR Nations Tourney @ Modesto Rainbow Fields Dec 5/6.
Saturday they beat the Lamorinda Diablos 16-2 and All-American Academy 10-0 and were the top seed.

Bombers Results For USTBA Manteca BLD Tourney Oct 31/Nov 1,, Orange 12U Takes 1st!
The Bombers Orange 12U did it again. They won the USTBA Halloween Havoc tourney in Manteca on Oct 31 and Nov 1. They split their games on Saturday picking up a win against the Elk Grove Dirtbags. Nick Medina threw a complete game. On Sunday, they beat the #1 seed Triple Crown 9-1 and then knocked off Catch All Baseball in the Championship Game. Raul Rizo threw a complete game 1 hitter in the semi final vs Triple Crown and Patrick Flannigan threw a complete game against Catch All to win the tournament. They went 3 wins, 1 loss in the 2 day event.
The Bombers Orange 11U also split their games on Saturday but unfortunately were placed in the Consolation bracket due to being on the short end of the tie breakers. However, they won both games Sunday and won the Consolation Bracket! They went 3 wins, 1 loss in the tourney.
The Bombers 9u split their games as well on Saturday. The won their first game Sunday and lost in the semi-final game. They went 2 wins, 2 losses in the tourney.
Solid weekend for all 3 teams.

Bombers Results For Oct 17/18, Orange Takes 1st In Manteca
The Bombers Orange 12U took 1st place in the Manteca/Tracy USSSA tourney. They went 4 wins, 1 loss. The defeated the Elk Grove Dirtbags, TABU, Club All-Star and the West Coast Federals twice including the championship game. This is their 4th tourney win in their last 5.
The Bombers Blue 12U went 2 wins, 1 loss and placed third in the USSSA Elk Grove tourney.

The Bombers Orange 11U went 2 wins and 1 loss in the ASTB tournament @ Davis Playfields. The beat the Nevada Dust Devils 6-4 and Club All-Star 18-3.
The Bombers Blue went 3 wins and 1 loss an took 2nd place in the TPR Nations "Combat Baseball" in Modesto. The beat the Lodi Legends, Lamorinda Monarchs and Stanislaus Sting. The lost to the Monarchs in the Championship game which went 8 innings.

The Bombers had 3 teams play in tournaments on Oct 3/4.
The Bombers Orange 12u took 2nd place in the USSSA Santa Cruzin' event and went 2 wins and 2 losses. Pat Flanigan hit a home run the cleared the left field wall. It was the only home run of the event. He also threw a complete game in the Championship game. An unearned run unfortunately helped the Lightning to a 2-1 walk-off win. Anthony Galindo played excellent defense as well.
The Bombers Blue 11u went 2 wins and 2 losses in the USSSA Fremont event.

Bombers Results For The USTBA "Slugfest" and Modesto Tourney 8/29-8/30
The Bombers Orange 12U won the USTBA "Slugfest" going a perfect 4 wins and 0 losses. It was a solid weekend defeating 2 13u teams and 2 12u teams. Congrats to the Orange. In the Championship Game Brandon Peterson threw 6 innings of shutout baseball vs Team LLB and picked up the win. They won the game 5-1 in 7 innings. Key hits also came from Tyler Wilson, Jacob Cruce and Nick Medina.
The Bombers Blue 12U struggled. They dropped 2 close games Saturday. They came back and won the first elimination game on Sunday. They were eliminated by the Bombers Orange 12U in the semi-final.
The Bombers 11U went 1 loss and 1 tie on Saturday. They swept both Sunday games to win the Consulation Championship.
The Bombers 9U had a tough weekend and went 0 wins and 3 losses. They played hard and kept the games close but fell short.
The Bombers 16U won their wood bat tourney. The went a perfect 4 wins and 0 losses in route to their 1st Championship. This was just their 2nd tourney together. Great job 16U!

Bombers Orange 12U and Bombers Blue 11U Win Their Tournies Aug 8/9
Bombers Orange 12U won the Fremont tourney going 6 wins and 0 losses. They beat Lamorinda in the Championship and also on Saturday. The Bombers Orange also knocked out the Bombers Blue in the Semi-Final match up 10-9. Nick Medina homered in the tourney. Robbie Ramirez continued his torrid hitting including a game tying double in the 5th inning of the Championship Game vs Lamorinda. Brevin Welch picked up wins in the Semi-Final and in the Championship games.
The Bombers Blue 12U went 4 wins and 1 loss in the tourney.
Bombers 11U Blue won the Tracy USTBA tourney going 5 wins and 0 losses. They knocked off Hard 90 in the Championship game. They beat Hard 90 twice and the Amigos twice as well.
The Bombers 16U went 3 wins and 1 loss in their first tourney.
They Bombers 9U had a tough weekend going 0 wins and 3 losses. They had a hard fought loss to the Diamondbacks 8-7 in 7 innings.

Bombers 11U Take Tracy USTBA Tourney, 10U Blue Takes 2nd
Bombers Results for the 2009 USTBA "Monster Elimination" Tracy tournament, July 25/26
The Bombers Orange 11U played up in the 11/12 Division and went 3 wins, 0 losses on their way to another Championship. Game scores were 10-0, 10-2 and 15-4, all won by mercy rule. Robbie Ramirez hit 2 home runs in the tournament. He also had 4 rbi's in the Championship game. Austin Burt threw game 2 and had 3 shut out innings while picking up the win. Noah Denoyer had a home run as well. Nathan George had a solid weekend with multiple run scoring singles. Other hitting stars for the weekend were Nick Medina and Anthony Galindo. Ramirez was the "Monster" MVP of the tournament.
The Bombers 10U Blue had a great weekend as well. They took 2nd place overall. The Blue went 2-1-1. The Championship was a very close game. They fell 8-6 but had many threats in the latter innings but came up a tad short.
The Bombers 9U picked up an opening game win and for the 2nd tourney in a row were seeded in the Winners Bracket. They fell to the eventual champion of the tourney, Blossom Valley Bulldogs. They placed 4th for the weekend. Noah Mainarick had a 2 run home run for the Bombers in the first game.

Bombers 9U results for July 17-19 @ Manteca BLD
The Bombers 9U team had a solid 1st tournament. They dropped their first game but came back to win their next 2. The highlight game was coming back from down 6-0 and 7-3 to beat the Heat 12-9. They lost to the Diamondbacks 5-4 in the elimination game. It was a heartbreaker as they left the tying run at 3rd. The Diamondbacks forfeited their next game so the Bombers stepped up and played LaMorinda on Sunday in the semi-final.
Josh Alvarado hammered a 2 run home run for the Bombers first of the year.

Bombers results for the Nations "Summer Splash" tourney June 20/21 at Manteca BLD and Tracy
The 10U Bombers Blue won their first tournament going 3 wins, 1 loss over the weekend. They knocked off The Amigos 17-10 in the Championship game. Great job guys!!! Congrats.
The Bombers 13U placed 2nd in the 2009 TPR Baseball Royale. Saturday, they went 2 wins and 0 losses. They knocked off the Oakdale Honkers 10-9 and the Fresno Blue Devils 5-2. In the semi-final game Sunday, they beat a solid North Baseball Club 5-2 to advance to the big game. They fell in the Championship game to Baseball USA Nationals who went 4 and 0 in the tourney. Great job 13U on your 2nd place finish. Job well done!!!

The Bombers Orange went 4 wins, 0 losses and a tie to win the tourney. They won the Championship game 23-6 against the SJV Blues in 3 innings.
The Bombers Blue went 2-2 during the event, placing 3rd. One of their losses was to the Orange 9-8.

Bombers results for the 2009 USTBA April Baseball Classic @ Manteca BLD
The 10u Bombers Blue went 1 and 1 on Saturday. They fell in a close game to Bret's Muckdogs of Reno 6-5. They came back in game 2 with plenty of offense, hammering Yuba Sutter Bandits 21-4.
In the semi final game, they avenged the loss to the Muckdogs, eliminating them 9-2. They fell to Tabu in the Championship game.
Very nice job taking 2nd in this tournament!
The 13u Bombers also split their Saturday match ups. The lost to Club All-Star and beat Bret's Muckdogs 5-2. In the first elimination game (played Saturday night), they beat the Muckdogs again 4-0.
They lost to Club All-Star again in the semi-final game.
Bombers Orange 11U USTBA tourney Apr 4/5 results
On Saturday the Bombers Orange knocked off the Livermore Dirtbags then fell to Tabu. They had the 2 seed going into Sunday.
On Sunday they beat the Dirtbags again in the Semi Final to face Tabu in the Championship. They pounded the ball and the pitching and defense was excellent, they eliminated Tabu 12-7 to win their second straight Championship!

Bombers 13U results for the 2009 TPR St Patrick's Weekend tourney at Rainbow Fields in Modesto and Manteca BLD Mar 21/22
Saturday the Bombers 13u fell in a close game vs the Eagles 6-5. They rebounded well and pounded Diehard Baseball 16-0 and locked the 4 seed. Only the top 5 teams have a shot at the Championship. The bottom 5 teams are in the Consulation bracket.
In their first elimination game Sunday, they bounced the Knuckleheads 12-10 and locked their spot in the tourney semi-final.
They lost the semi-final game to the Bulldogs who would go on and win the tournament.
Solid weekend. This was their 2nd straight semi-final appearance.

The 11U Bombers orange won the tournament going 3 wins and 1 loss. They defeated the Bombers Blue 3-0 in the Championship game.
The 11U Bombers Blue took 2nd place, losing in the Championship against the Bombers Orange. The Blue went 3 wins, 1 loss. Between the two 11U teams, they went 6 wins, 2 losses. The 2 losses were against each other. This was the second time both Bombers have faced off in a tournament championship game.
The 12U Bombers went 0-3. They played 2 solid games against the SJ Shock coming up just 1 run short in game 1 and a couple short in game 2.
Bombers results for the USSSA Spring-N-Fling tournament Mar 7/8 in Fremont
The 13U Bombers entered the tournament and their bats were on fire.
Saturday they knocked off Die Hard Baseball 25-0! In the 2nd game Saturday they shut out Merced County Force 11-0. They locked up the 1 seed going into Sunday.
Sunday, they pounded the NC Phantoms 17-3. They fell in the semi-final game to a tough Stealth ball club.
Great tourney for the 13U! They are growing quickly and sky is the limit for this group!!!

The Sunday and Monday games were all canceled due to heavy rains and poor field conditions.

Bombers 12U results for the TPR Ground Hog Heat Modesto tourney Feb 7/8
The Bombers 12U had a very solid weekend going 3 wins, 1 loss. Saturday they swept their games. They beat the Modesto Stars 7-6 and in the 2nd game Saturday they beat the Brentwood Blast 3-2 to lock up a #2 seed. In Sunday's first elimination game, they defeated the Lodi Rockhounds 9-1. They fell to in the semi final game. They took 3rd place overall. Great job to the 12U's!
Bombers Blue 13U results for the Pre-Super NIT in Manteca and the 11U Blue
The 13U came out blazing on Saturday. They knocked off the AG Hornets 10-4 and the NorCal Bombers 13-9 to clinch a #1 seed going in to Sunday. They fell Sunday to AG Hornets in the semi-final game. They went an impressive 2 wins and 1 loss in the event.
The Bombers Blue 11U team went 3 wins and 1 loss. They won the Consolation Championship game.
For the weekend, the Bombers teams went a strong 8 wins and 3 losses. Great job to all 3 teams!!!
Bombers results for TPR Manteca tourney Jan 31 and Feb 1
The Bombers 10U dropped their first 2 games Saturday but picked up a big win in the Sunday finale. Chandlyr Metal had a home run and Harrison Difuntorum had a few hits on the weekend.
The Bombers Orange 11U had a tough draw. They fell in the opener to Hard 90 Phenom II. They lost in the 2nd Saturday game 1-0. In the first game Noah Denoyer smoked a line shot triple to right that plated the lone Bombers run. In game 2, Anthony Galindo gave up only 1 run and threw well enough to win. Unfortunately for the Orange, the Fresno pitcher matched him pitch for pitch. In the finale Sunday, they fell 6-5 to Cencal.

The Bombers Blue 11U went 3 wins and 1 loss. They won the 11U division on the Twin Creeks MLK Classic tourney. The registered 2 wins vs a tough Bret's Muckdogs team including the Championship Game. They split their games vs San Ramon Slammers Rage.
The 14U Bombers went 0-3 in the MLK Classic.
The Bombers 15U played in Modesto. They lost 2 very tight games on Saturday. Sunday to be posted.
3 Bombers teams enter the Manteca Kick Off Jan 10/11
The Bombers Orange 11U played some of their best ball as a team to date in this tourney. In game 1 Saturday, they beat the Rio Linda Warriors 14-3. Anthony Galindo threw 3 great innings as Nick Medina and Raul Rizo paced the offense. Medina clubbed a home run while Rizo went 3-3 with a double and a triple. In game 2 vs Rosemont Express, the Bombers pounded out 24 runs. Noah Denoyer led the charge with a home run and a bases loaded triple. In game 3 vs Roseville Bandits, the Bombers fell behind early but kept battling. They outlasted the Bandits 8-7 to reach their 3rd final in a row. Brevin Welch hammered a 2 run home run to right center in the game. Noah Denoyer picked up the save in the game. In the Final vs HeadFirst Gamers, the Bombers stepped up to the challenge of playing against a quality 11U Major team. The final was 4-3 Bombers. Noah Denoyer threw the final 4 shutout innings for the win. Big run scoring hits came from Tyler Wilson and Nathan George. Other huge bats in the tourney came from Isaq Lewis and Anthony Galindo. Robbie Ramirez showed some big heart as he came down with the flu on Saturday night. He rested in the semi final but came out and played a great game in the final. True guts and determination! This was a true team effort and a huge win for the Bombers program. Good job guys!! This is one to be proud of.

Bombers Dads, "Daddy Ball" Finally Win a Game!
This had to be posted. After a few weeks of losses, the Bombers Dads finally broke through and won a game. Raul "Tight Pants" Rizo hit 2 bombs and Jorge "Crooked Foot" Medina smoked a 3 run jack into right center. Eric "Skates" Denoyer showed a fine display of wheels. Dwayne "Hoover" Greely flashed some serious leather at third. Frank Gigliotti and Anthony Galindo pounded balls off the Green Monster in left. Gigliotti's was for an inside the park home run. Final 16-9.
Bombers 15U Twin Creeks Tourney Results Jan 3/4
Saturday the Bombers 15U had a solid day. They dropped their first game to a very tough East Bay Hackers team 4-0. In the second game, the Bombers were victorious against the East Bay Colt 45's 5-4.
Sunday the Bombers came out rolling and knocked off the Easy Bay Colt 45's and earned a spot in the Championship game. They fell in the Championship to the East Bay Hackers.
Congrats on a 2nd place finish in your first tourney as a team!
10U Bombers Blue Go 2-2 In Manteca Tourney Dec 26-28
The 10U Bombers Blue started the tourney well winning their first 2 games. Unfortunately they dropped their next 2 contests but finished .500 for the tourney. Solid job by the boys and they continue to improve in each and every tourney.

Bombers Orange 11u (3 wins, 1 loss). The Bombers Orange had a great weekend. They made it to the Championship game. They took a 4-0 lead in the first inning vs PYB Crushers White and then the sky opened up. The game was called due to weather. The Bombers Orange were deemed Co-Champions!!!

The last game came up to the Rays making a great diving play at second base with the bases loaded to keep the Bombers from a tie score and the winning run being on 2nd base. Had the ball got through, it would have rolled a while.

10U Bombers Blue went 0-3 and struggled in their first tourney together.
11U Bombers Blue won the Championship in the 11U division.
11U Bombers Orange were the runner up in the 11U division.
Combined they went 7 wins, 2 losses. The only losses were to each other.
13U Bombers went 0-3 and struggled against 13AAA teams.
14U Bombers went 1-3 in their first tourney together. They notched a 14-2 win on Saturday night under the lights.
Bombers Results For The Tracy Tourney Nov 23/24
3 Bombers teams entered the Tracy Tourney.
The 13u had their first tourney and ran the table on Saturday winning 10-2 vs the NorCal Bears and 4-0 vs the Stockton Slam. Great first tourney!
The 12u Bombers won both games Saturday vs the Running Rebels and the San Jose Shock. They beat the 11u Bombers Orange in the first Sunday game but fell against the Rays in the semi final. They played great and were a play or two from going to the championship.
The 11u Bombers stepped up and took the challenge of playing in the 12u bracket. They posted a nice win vs the River City Bulldogs and Sunday fell in the Bombers vs Bombers match up. The boys played good ball and met the challenge of playing up in age very well. Great job Orange!!!

The Bombers 10U team took 2nd place in their first tourney together (USTBA Rocktoberfest at the Tracy Sports Complex). Chandlyr Metal threw a complete game in the semi-final to beat the Patterson Amigos 9-2. They fell to TABU in the Final. Congrats 10U on your 2nd place finish!!
Bombers (Orange) 11U Take 2nd Place In Brentwood Tourney Sep 20/21
Congratulations to the Bay Valley Bombers (Orange) 11u team for taking 2nd in the Brentwood tourney this past weekend. They had a great day, winning both games by 10+ runs on Saturday to lock up the #1 seed going into Sunday. Sunday they knocked out Solano Pony 8-4 in the Semi-Final. They fell to the Delta Dawgs Blue team in the final, 7-3. Great job Bombers Orange!!

Congrats to the Bombers Orange 11u for winning their first tournament as "the orange" squad. They went 4-0 in the tourney including wins against the Livermore Dirtbags and knocking off the La Morinda Monarchs in the finals. Job well done.
