Work Bond Requirements

Bridgewater-Raritan Pop Warner relies heavily on its volunteers. As with many similr type of organizations, Work Bond hours are strongly encouraged. At the start of the season you will be required to submit a check in the amount of $150 per family. The original work bond check will be returned or destroyed at the end of the season if you work the required 8 hours. Of course, we never turn away any extra hours you may want to volunteer! IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE YOUR REQUIRED HOURS, THEN THE CHECK WILL BE CASHED!!!

This year (2009) we are offering a "Work Bond OPT Out" This is on the Registration Form and by checking the box you are forfeiting the $150 and opting not to fulfill the hours. Your check will be IMMEDIATELY cashed!

There are many ways to satisfy these hours. Some examples include: Clothing sales at practices and games, Concession stand duty at both the home games or at the Washington School practice facility, serve as linesmen at games or help with the organization/sponsor gathering and gift soliciting for our Annual Golf Outing. Again, these are just examples. We do our best to notify everyone of opportunities, however, it is your job to seek these out and make sure that the correct Board member logs your hours.
