TEAM REGISTRATION FOR THE SPRING 2003 CBC SEASON IS UNDERWAY.IF YOU ARE INTERESTED AND MANAGE A COMPETETIVE TEAM, PLEASE LET US KNOW BY CLICKING ON THE MAILBOX ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THIS PAGE. PLEASE SPECIFY YOUR TEAM'S & MANAGER'S NAME AND AGE GROUP. THANKS.
Divisions for 2003: 11u, 12u, 13u, 14u
Birthday Rule: July 31st
Length of Spring Season: Late March through late July with bye weekends to allow tournament play.
Summary of Rules of Play:
11U & 12U: 50/70 with modified HS Federation Rules; one warning on balks for 11u & no warnings for 12u; leading, stealing, straight steal of home, head first sliding, big barrels allowed, two 6 inning games.
13U: 60/90 with modified HS Federation Rules; limit of -5 on bats; one seven inning game
14U: 60/90 with modified HS Federation Rules; limit of -3 on bats; one 9 inning game
If you are interested in placing your team in the CBC, please email us or contact Dave Sternlieb (732-431-4411) or Joe Volpe (732-863-0850)to make sure there is an opening for your team. After you have called us/emailed us with your interest in joining the CBC and after your team has been accepted, please remember to send the following items to the CBC c/o Joe Volpe, 29 Longstreet Rd., Manalapan, NJ 07726: a check payable to the CBC covering your team's $200 refundable forfeit fee and $50 trophy fee; a copy of your team's insurance certificate. If you need insurance, read the information at the bottorm of this page. If your team played in the fall season, your forfeit bond will be carried over to the fall season.
