    General Information. Please review
January 2, 2009  --   Here is some general information about the North Hills Baseball Program (which is a new organization formed in 2009 combining College Hill and North College Hill Baseball).

This is a recreational baseball only league (no softball or fast pitch softball is sponsored). For youngsters aged 5-7 a T-Ball option is offered. (a modifiedhard ball is used at this level).

All other youngsters will play baseball. For youngsters aged 8 and 9 modified rules will apply. For youngester age 10 and above, regular baseball is played (the only change is the distances between bases and the pitchers mound vary based on age).

For baseball, anticipate that practices will start in late March or early April. The season will begin in late April and will be completed by July 4th. Games will be played on Saturdays and during the week (approximately 15 games). Anticipate a time commitment of 3 times per week. Games will be played in College Hill, North College Hill, Finneytown, Greenhills, Forest Park and Colerain Township (Olympian Club). Games could be played on any day of the week. Our program has also been expanded to possibly include teams from Reading, St. Bernard, Wyoming, Lincoln Heights, Woodlawn and Mt.Airy/Monfort Heights.

To participate in the program, you must first register your son or daughter. You can download a form from this website.(you will need an adobe acrobat browser to download). You can download the form even if you have dial up internet access(be patient - it will work.

See the Welcome Page for information on how to pick up a form at 1446 Thomwood Drive (or call 929-BALL/929-2255 for directions). Or email us at
baseball.collegehill@yahoo.com and we will mail you a form electronically or by regular mail (if you provide us with your mailing address)

Please remember the baseball registration form must be completed with the registration fee paid. Please register by the registration deadline (March 7, 2009). This is REALLY IMPORTANT.

    FAMILY Registration Discountl

If you register two or more players from the same family you may deduct $5 from the 2nd and all subsequent registrations from the same family. We would request that a separate registration form be completed for each child being registered. Please either submit the forms at the same time and/or indicate on the form that the Family Discount Program applies.

T-BALL and SOCCER - Combined Registration Fee. (this applies for T-Ball Only, children with birtdates between 5/1/2002 and 4/30/2004.)

Again this applies to T-Ball aged children only. If you register you son or daughter to play soccer in College Hill, the T-Ball registration fee will be waived. Simply indicate on the T-Ball registration form thay you have also registered your son or daughter for soccer.

If you have questions regarding College Hill Soccer, please contact Ms. Angela Thompson 931-2757 or email Ms.Thomspon at athompson21@cinci.rr.com

North Hills Baseball will not deny any young person the opportunity to play baseball because of financial difficulty. We do require that a registration form be completed and that SOME payment be made. We would also expect that the parent assist the Coach of the team in some manner - there are numerous tasks that need to be performed and your help would be greatly appreciated.
