Kevin Strohmayer

Varsity Pitching Coach
Baseball Experience: 13th year
Program Experience: 9th season


Comments:
Coach Strohmayer will be beginning his ninth season in the Falcons Baseball Program and his 5th on the varsity staff. He will again serve as the pitching coach for the entire Central Valley Falcons Baseball Program. Coach Strohmayer has helped numerous players on the pitching staff improve. One player who benefited greatly was Alumni Joel Burnett who pitched on scholarsahip at Lynn University in Florida. Coach Strohmayer will continue to have a talented crop of arms that all return from the 2009 championship season. He stated, "I have high expectations for our pitching staff this year and I'm excited about the challeges and opportunities that we will have this season."

In addition to his baseball duties, coach Strohmayer also coaches the Boys' Varsity Basketball team in the winter. Furthermore, he teaches science at Central Valley High School. Kevin resides in the City of Shasta Lake with his wife Casey and their two children.






Don Hodson

JV Head Coach
Baseball Experience: 20th year
Program Experience: 9th season

Don Hodson will serve as the Central Valley Falcons Junior Varsity Head Baseball Coach. Don has worked for all eight years with Coach Anderson and has become an important figure in the programs success. He has worked at every capacity within the program; a JV assistant coach, a varsity assistant coach, as well as his current position as the JV Head Coach. Coach Hodson also is the Head Coach of the Shasta Lake Bass Summer Baseball Team. The Shasta Lake Bass houses most of the Central Valley Baseball players in the summer and in the Fall baseball season. Coach Hodson stated, "I'm looking forward to a great season this year and am excited about getting started."

In addition to his baseball duties, coach Hodson also coaches the Nor-Cal Elite Travel team. Furthermore, he owns and operates his own business; Quality Medi-Ride during the day. Don resides in the City of Redding with his wife Cindi and they have three children.






Kris Corbell

JV Pitching Coach
Baseball Experience: 13th year
Program Experience: 2nd season


Comments:
Kris will serve as the Central Valley Falcons Junior Varsity Pitching Coach. Having played for coach Anderson for four year at CVHS and two years for the Redding Rattlers American Legion Program, Kris will and be with coach Anderson. He worked last year with Coach Hodson on the JV Baseball Staff and has become an important figure in the programs success. In addition, Kris worked with coach Strohmayer grooming the pitching staff on both levels. Kris will also serve this year as the Shasta Lake Bass Summer League Head Coach. The Shasta Lake Bass houses most of the Central Valley Baseball players in the summer and in the Fall baseball season. Coach Corbell stated, "I'm excited about working with our young pitching staff and helping them develop their skills."

In addition to his baseball duties, coach Corbell is pursuing his education at Shasta College. Kris resides with his family in the City of Shasta Lake.
