CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2008 GBC MIDGET FOOTBALL TEAM FOR BECOMING DIVISION 2 STATE CHAMPIONS
Message from GBC Football Commissioner:
Hello and welcome to the 2009 GBC Football Program. This is my first year as GBC’s Football Commissioner and I look forward to the challenges. Although commissioners, coaches, players, and staff often change, GBC’s commitment to our young football players will always remain the same. We are committed to teach our players the great game of football, we will show our players how important it is to work as a team, we will make our players more confident in their abilities and we will teach our players sportsmanship. And most important of all: OUR PLAYERS WILL HAVE FUN!
The first day of practice is August 3, 6pm at the Warnsdorfer practice fields. Please have the registration requirements fulfilled prior to the first practice. Players should wear a light t-shirt, shorts, athletic supporter and cup, socks and cleats (non-metal). Bring plenty of water and prescribed medication (in-halers) should be with the child at all times. Children with asthma CANNOT practice without their in-haler present. Also, parents of the instructional-Tiny Mite children must remain at practice.
