Tournaments will be a Four Game Guarantee.
Two seeding games Friday night. Double Elimination Saturday.
Two umpires for every game.(NORTH tournaments only)
Bounty Team Play in effect!
Home Run Rules:
MEN'S - Each team can hit three per game. Subsequent home runs will be an out.
Teams will have the option of purchasing additional home runs before every game. Unused *purchased* home runs will carry with the team to the next game. No refunds will be given.
COED - Men will play with 1 up rule. Women can hit unlimited home runs. No purchasing of additional home runs.
Tournament Rules:
NORTH TOURNAMENTS will play ASA Rules with two exceptions:
1- 1.20 bats accepted unless they don't show up on the approved bats list ( Approved Bats USSSA ) for USSSA. No Senior League bats! Anyone seen using an illegal bat will be an automatic out for their team the rest of that game. The bat will be taken and may or may not be returned at the end of the tournament.
2- Pitchers will be governed by standard USSSA pitching rules.
SALT LAKE COUNTY TOURNAMENTS will be governed by USSSA rules.
Home Run Derbies take place Saturday afternoon starting at 11:00 a.m. Cost is $10.00 for entry and $5.00 for re-entry.
Home Run Derby will be outlaw style...if you can swing it, bring it.
1st place will win a new softball bat and 2nd place will win a Bat Bag
Cost for tournament is $275 per team.
