Cheerleader of the Month
Each month the coaches as well as the teacher sponser will pick a member from the team to be "Cheerleader of the Month". The girl we pick will be someone who shows leadership, dedication, an awesome attitude and someone who just enjoys being here.
CHEERLEADER OF THE MONTH 2006-2007
September
Sarah Macdonald-grade 7
Sarah has really stepped up since first making the team! She's become such a great top and has come out of her shell! We are so proud of her and this was very well deserved!
October
Alexanne Oke- grade 9
We are soo impressed with all the dedication and effort that Alex puts forward every practice! Even though she was dying with the flu she came to practice anyways and impressed us so much! This is so well deserved and we can't wait to see the continued progress Alex puts forward! way to go Alex!!!
November
Erin Bonnell- grade 7
Cheryl Tucker- grade 9
Both of these girls deserve cheerleader of the month! Even though they started off as alternates they impressed us so much with their postive attitude and dedication that they got their place as permanent members of the LBJH cheerleading team. These girls are such a pleasure to coach and work with and we couldn't imagine the team without them! Way to go girlies!
