Pitching and Baseball Camps and Clinics

Off-Season Pitching and Defense Clinics
LPA Baseball is once again offering our Pitching and Defense Clinics, from January through March, at the Moundsview Community Center. The clinics will run from 6:00 to 7:30 each Monday evening and will be led by Erik Lovdahl and his staff of experienced coaches. On select evenings, the defensive instruction wil be presented by Twins Minor League player, Toby Gardenhire.
These clinics are a great way to get conditioned and ready for your try-out sessions.
Each session is just $30. The per session cost is reduced to $25 if 6 or more sessions are prepaid.
Although walk-up registrations are accepted, please pre-register for the clinic at our "Clinic/Camp Registration Forms" page so we can be prepared with an appropriate number of coaches for that evening.

Minnesota Twins Training Academy
The Minnesota Twins, in partnership with the National Sports Center in Blaine, introduce a new program providing amateur athletes with a way to continue developing their baseball skills in the offseason.
Offseason training at the NSC allows players an opportunity to continue to develop their skills when they are not able to be outside, as well as prepare for next season's tryouts. The Minnesota Twins Training Academy offers both pitching and hitting instruction twice a week in three and four week long sessions. Players may pick either pitching or hitting instruction or combine both disciplines.
Led by Minnesota Twins batting practice pitcher and former player Erik Lovdahl, and former Minnesota Twin and current Forest Lake High School head baseball coach, Brian Raabe, the Minnesota Twins Training Academy provides opportunity for our area youth to receive serious training by professionals following the same approach used by our own Minnesota Twins players.

Minnesota Twins Youth Baseball and Softball Training Camps
The mission of the Minnesota Twins Youth Baseball & Softball Training Camps is to provide upper Midwest youth with quality baseball and softball instruction at an affordable price in a safe and encouraging atmosphere.
Erik Lovdahl serves as the Camp Director which cater to athletes between the ages of 8 and 18 wanting to improve individual baseball or softball skills in a serious instructional atmosphere.
The Twins are currently planning for their summer youth training camps - be sure to check back later for more information.
