The meeting began shortly after 7:30 PM.
The booster club wrote the following checks: (I apologize for not having the exact amounts with me)
One for shirts and shirts and shorts
One for baseballs and shirts
One for new batting tees and coaching clinic re-imbursement for Coach Rose
A parent meeting will be held in the school cafeteria on 1/13/09.
The baseball pre-season potluck will be held in the school cafeteria on 2/17/09 (I'm not sure this date is right. We can clairfy when we know more)
We will use this time to talk about fundraisers again, and solicit volunteers for the recurring season duties such as concession stand, score board, etc...
The players will be asked to begin selling Ranger tickets soon.
The players will be asked to sell discount cards in early February. Coach Rose will supply exact dates soon. A card "blitz" may be held on 2/7/09.
An initiative to bring in new sponsors and retain last year's sponsors for the program is beginning.
Several people have ideas for new sponsors and will talk to those companies.
Kelly will reach out to the sponsors for last year.
Kelly will be responsible for assembling the programs.
Coach Rose will send soft copies of the sponsorhip packages/information to Kelly and Shannon.

Fall fund-raising will begin Friday 9/12 with Chick-Fil-A
(no more volunteers needed)We expect to make $600-700 per sale

These are easy and fun way to make money selling lunches to students-only 2hr
Sat Sept 20 BIG MONEY-MAKING EVENT:
Computer and small electronics recycling in Mac back lot.
We will be provided with a truck and canopy(in case of rain)
ALL parents and baseball families are strongly encouraged to participate.
Time slots will be available form 6:30 am -- 3:30pm.
The entire Mac community and Irving will be notified of this

Meet at MAC field @ 8am for travel
Varsity games:Tuesdays 6/8pm
JV :Saturdays 9:30/11:30
Practices will take place Thursdays @ 6pm at MAC
Because of the Baseball Boosters hard work,Coach was able to purchase a
NEW Field Mower!
Mac principal Cynthia Bean conatibuted extra funds needed for this.
Our hard work DOES pay off!
Be sure to voulunteer your time in the concession booth and at these events.
HOMECOMING float
Friday October 24 will be MAC's homecoming parade.We will be decorating a
flat bed trailer for the players to ride on.
Please see Gloria Jones or Linda Wolever with creative ideas.
President Kelly Todd concluded the meeting at 7:45pm.

Booster Club Meeting Notes - 8/26
Here is a recap from Tuesday’s Booster Club meeting:
There will be a baseball parent meeting on Wednesday, September 3rd at 7:00 pm at the field. Topics for the meeting include:
o Fall baseball league
§ Game days/times
§ League fees
o Upcoming fundraisers
· Fundraisers
o Chick-fil-A (Coach Rose to check for dates with Sherry Martinez)
o Hit-a-thon (September/October timeframe)
o Community computer recycling drive (One Saturday in September. Coach Rose to talk to Mrs. Bean for approval)
o Cookie dough (November)
o Shirts (Now and again at the beginning of the season)
· Homecoming
o Linda Wolever has the float items from last year
o Kelly will ask Linda if she can/will lead this effort
o Gloria Jones volunteered to help lead the effort
· New mower
o Coach Rose to talk with Mrs. Bean for additional funding from the school
