INFO ON THIS YEAR'S SUMMER CAMPS
Hello Middletown Babe Ruth Players and Parents!
My name is Justin Nathanson and I am the owner of Triple Play Baseball Camp. Once again, I will be teaming up with Middletown Babe Ruth to hold our second annual summer camps during the month of July. This year, we will not only be welcoming baseball players between the ages of 5-14, but softball players as well.
The children will be grouped and instructed by age and skill level. Our camp focus is to help the players learn all aspects of the game including skills such as fielding, hitting, bunting, sliding, base running, communication, teamwork, sportsmanship, and most important how to have FUN.
A brief description of the camp would be as follows:
8:00 - 8:45 Form Running, Stretching, Throwing Mechanics, Long Tossing
8:45 - 10:30 Skill Development Stations – Players will be grouped by skill level and rotated amongst the coaches, who will be teaching various skills.
10:30 - 12:00 Instructional Game – Players will participate in a live game. Coaches will stop the game at different times to help explain different situations and help the players understand what they might have been able to do better, or simply for positive reinforcement.
Camp also includes:
8:1 player to coach ratio
T-Shirts for all players
Pizza party on the last day of camp
Camp Certificates for all players
