Participation

The Panthers Basketball Club seeks girls who have a passion for basketball, who want challenge in their athletic endeavors, and who desire to succeed at the sport. Ideal candidates have a strong commitment to playing basketball at competitive levels and have the discipline and zeal to train themselves for that. Fundamental skill development and tactical game knowledge are emphasized, while promoting teamwork, self-confidence and physical conditioning.

Participation with the Panthers Basketball Club will conflict with other athletic opportunities. However, practices and games are scheduled to minimize conflict with schoolwork and school-related events. Strict player attendance requirements are enforced.

Player fees supports the organization's needs to purchase insurance and lease gymnasium space, cover tournament costs, pay administrative salaries and purchase necessary equipment and supplies. Additionally, team members purchase uniforms and have the opportunity to purchase other team-identifying apparel. Expenses for uniforms and travel are in addition to the participation fee. A scholarship program is available.
