In addition to team practices and games, the Club sponsors many other activities to help our members enjoy their baseball season, and to also help the Club provide better fields and facilities to all our members. The Home Run Derby fundraiser raises money directly to improve our fields and equipment. Immediate project plans include equipment boxes at all fields, and to cover all bench areas at George Fox. We have also had electronic scoreboards donated to us, and need to raise money to install them at Havenwood Park.

You eat your favorite Arby's meal, dine in or carry out - Arby's donates a % of bill to the Pasadena Baseball Club.
You don't need a flyer for this - just drop your receipt in the PBC box before you leave. If driving through, just let them know to keep the receipt for the Pasadena Baseball Club.
Team Pictures - weeknights between May 28 and Jun 7
The 2013 Team Pictures will be made up between Tue May 28 and Fri Jun 7. They will be scheduled on a day your team is not playing. If you have any questions, please contact Karla Finch firstname.lastname@example.org.
The team pictures will be taken by Katrina Kraus Photography. Forms will be provided to parents about 2 weeks prior to Team Picture Day.

Closing Day - Sat June 15
For 2013, Closing Day will be held on Saturday June 15.
Intramural divisions will be holding the championship games for the PBC World Series, and Clinic teams will usually have a home run derby or similar-type event.
More information on the 2013 Closing Day will be coming soon.
Pre-paid Raffle Tickets
When you registered to play, you paid an additional $30 to guarantee that you will sell 30 $1 raffle tickets. The tickets will be handed out to each manager by Opening Day to distribute to the team players.
If you haven't received your raffle tickets by the end of April, or if you have any other questions about raffle tickets, please email Fred Engel firstname.lastname@example.org
REMINDER - because you already pre-paid for these tickets, you sell them and keep the $30 you will collect for them since you already paid the Club for them. Please do not turn in money - just the stubs from the tickets you sell.
The ticket stubs can be turned in at the concessions stand starting about May 1. Or a Team Manager or Team Parent can collect them for the team, and turn them in at a Board of Directors meeting. The drawing is held in June, either at the Closing Day Ceremony or at the June BOD meeting. Even if you don't actually sell the tickets to other people, you should at least put your own name on the stubs and turn them in to your manager - this will mean that effectively bought 30 chances to win one of the prizes for yourself!

Opening Day Parade - Sat April 13, 2013

The Parade Route starts at George Fox MS and moves north (away from Mountain Road) on Outing Avenue, then turns right on ???, then right on Catherine Avenue, then right on 220th Street into Havenwood Park.
Rough schedule of activities:
9am - players should arrive at Havenwood park to prepare for the parade. The roads will close down about 9:15am, so don't arrive late! We need time to get everyone organized.
930am - parade begins from Havenwood Park up Outing Avenue and will return back to Havenwood Park from pedestrian entrance at 220th Street.
11am - opening ceremonies.
12pm - activites, concessions, games, etc.

Oriole Parade & Game - Sun April 21, 2013
For 2013, the Oriole Parade will be on Sunday April 21 (1:35pm game, Orioles vs. Los Angeles Dodgers). Tickets are $12 each for seats that are priced normally over $30, and everyone attending - players, coaches and parents - must purchase a ticket.
Tickets will be purchased through your Team Mom/Dad. MONEY IS DUE TO TEAM MOM/DAD ON OR BEFORE APRIL 15. Tickets will be given to Team Mom/Dad on April 17 to distribute to their parents.
The top ticket seller in the club will collect the heavy hitter award on behalf of the Club. This person is usually invited onto the field, after the parade but before the game, and recognized in front of everyone at the stadium.
The top three sellers in the club will receive a free Pasadena Baseball Club jacket.
The Oriole Parade Day is an opportunity for your child to parade with your Pasadena players and coaches around the warning track inside Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The Baltimore Orioles sponsor this event before a game during their season. You have to buy a ticket for the game for your child and at least one adult to sit with your child during the game. You may buy as many tickets as you want.
During the parade, only the players and manager/coaches are permitted to walk in the parade. All parents and spectators must view the parade from the seating area of the park. The managers/coaches will then bring the players into the seating area after the parade is over.
