Boys Day Camp for Grades 3-8
Session One - Monday, June 25 through Thursday, June 28 (9-12noon)
Session Two - Monday, July 16 through Thursday, July 19 (9-12noon)
Our location is the Martinsville Campus of the Pingry School.
Camp sessions are designed to improve the individual skills and small group concepts which are so crucial for success in lacrosse. Your son will improve and have fun. All lacrosse players need to develop stick work, shooting, defending, dodging, feeding, ground ball, etc., etc., etc. This camp provides the necessary drills to do that. All positions will have a dedicated coach including goalie play. All players will improve over the course of the four day camp.
Many of your players participate on summer travel teams. That is a lot of fun. However, some teams spend a large amount of time getting ready for tournaments so they implement the team offense and the team rides and the team man down, etc., tec., etc. What ends up happening is that the players do not develop individual skills. This camp can change that. All we do for three hours each day is to teach and drill skills.
