    RULES
Men’s NCAA rules govern play, with the following exceptions:

    A) Zone defenses are not allowed.
    1) Defenders must be within six feet of the offensive player they are guarding
when playing off the ball defense.
    2) A defender who motions to double team the ball must complete that
motion before returning to his regular defensive assignment unless the ball is
passed. Penalty- 1st offense-warning. All subsequent offenses-one free throw
and possession at point of interruption.

    B) A player will be disqualified after his 6th personal foul. (Technical fouls count
towards a player’s total personal fouls.)

    C) A team will be awarded two free throws after the opposing team’s 10th team
foul of the half. (No 1 & 1 after 7).

    D) An imaginary twenty-four second clock will be used. If a team appears to
intentionally delay in order to run time off the clock, the official will alert the
offense that it has 10 seconds to shoot.

    E) Each team is allotted 2 full and 2 twenty-second time outs per game. ( Each
team will be given an additional time out for each overtime period)

    F) Overtime will be 3 minutes. (Final minute will be stop time on all whistles.)

    G) The game will be stopped if a team has a twenty (20) point lead with two (2)
minutes or less left in the second half. The team which is ahead will be awarded
    the win.

    H) Technical fouls - Penalty- Two free throws and possession.

    ADMINISTRATIVE RULES
    A) Teams must have at least five players dressed and ready to play at scheduled
starting time. Game clock will start and opposing teams will be awarded 1 point
per minute until five players are dressed and ready to play. Game will start with
remaining time on the clock. Forfeit- When game clock expires for the first half.
(A team must have five players dressed and ready to play in order to receive points).

    B) Players are to wear issued team shirts. Should a player not have an issued
shirt, he must wear a shirt that is the same color as his team’s issued shirt. Teams
will be assessed a one shot technical foul for each shirt violation.

    C) Any player receiving an unsportsmanlike technical foul must leave the game
and will be fined $10. He will not be allowed to return into the game or play any
future games until the fine is paid.

    D) Any player involved in a fight will receive an automatic minimum two (2)
game suspension. He will also be fined $20 which must be paid before
    suspension is lifted.

    E) If a team chooses to pick up a player in order to start a game, opposing team
    will be awarded 10 points.

    F) Referee fee ($55 per team per game) is to be paid to the scorers table at half time of each game. The second half will not begin until both teams have paid their respective fee.

    G) If a team owes referee fee as a result of forfeiting the previous game, they must pay that fee prior to its next game. Should a team owe two referee fees (two consecutive forfeits), both fees MUST be paid by 9pm Thursday prior to your next scheduled game. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of your next game (offending team will be given a loss and their opponent will be given the win). Cancelled games will NOT be made up under any circumstance. (This rule also applies to entry fee balances due after due date!)

    H) Cancelled games will not be made up under any circumstance. Postponed games (as a result of bad weather or an emergency) will be made up at the convenience of both teams involved or at the commissioner's discretion.

    I) In case of incliment weather, call the league's number for a recorded message about your teams game. If there is no message about your game being cancelled, it is still on and your team is expected to be present, or face a forfeit. 718 393-7608

NOTE: Any player who threatens physical harm to an official will receive an automatic three game suspension and possible expulsion from the league.

Protests must be submitted in writing along with a $25 protest fee within 48 hours
of game involving the protest. The protest will be reviewed by an independent
arbitrator whose decision will be final. Protest should not be made concerning
    areas of judgment.
