Cal State Fullerton Scholarship
  Cal state fullertin athletics
Collin O'Connell has only played with the Riverside Rangers for one year and also played on the Arlington High School varsity team for three years. During Collin's serior year he was selected for the All League and Riverside County All-Star teams. Collin has shown and proven his talent and his enthusiasm for the sport.

Collin's position as a Riverside Rangers was pitcher with the following record;  9 wins, 2 losses, 70 K, 14 walks. Because of these impressive numbers Collin has been selected as the 2008 MVP.

Not only was Collin's effort appreciated by the Rangers coaches and players but he also got the attention of several scouts from BYU, Nebraska State, UCR, and Utah State but it was the local state college that won him over. The SoCal Rangers coaches are proud to annouce that Collin has been presented with a Baseball Scholarship to attend Cal State Fullerton this fall. Collin will be coached by Dave Sarrano. The SoCal Rangers Coaches want to congratulate Collin as well as Mr. & Mrs. O'Connell and family.
