Coach Baker graduated from Spring Hill High School in 1976.

 

Upon graduating high school he spent four years in the US Navy (1976-1980)

 

After he was honorably discharged as an

Operations Specialist 2nd class,

he enrolled at the

 University of Texas where he graduated in 1984

with a BS in Education/English.

 

His coacing resume' includes stops at:

 Hawkins 1986-1991

Mt. Pleasant 1992-1995

Detroit 1995-1998 (head football AD) 18-11-1 record

Daingerfield 1998-2001

Spring Hill 2001- 2005

Lewisville 2005-2008

He is married to his wife Tina

and together they have two daughters: 

Katie age 22 senior at UT

Lizzie age 21 senior at UT
