SMCHS YOUTH BASEBALL CAMPS
The Santa Margarita Eagles Baseball Program offers a number of camps throughout the year for aspiring Eagles to improve their skills. Our Youth Clinics will cover basic mechanics of throwing, infield, outfield, hitting, pitching, catching, and base running. Our camps are designed to be a fun experience where kids leave the field excited about playing baseball. Our goal is to implement a schedule that is balanced between fun baseball activities and serious skill instruction.
Head Coach David Bacani and his staff pride themselves in offering quality baseball training for the youth of the Rancho Santa Margarita area.
UPCOMING CAMPS:
November 2009 - One day OPTIONAL mini camp for all CURRENT Santa Margraita Players that will focus on the fundamentals of footwork, catch play, defensive drills and positioning. The date is November 25, 2009. From 10:00am - 2:00pm. Instructed by Head Coach David Bacani and other experienced professional players.
December 2009 - This is a 3 day Baseball Camp for players of all ages and skill levels. The dates are December 21-23, 2009. Focus groups will be held in the areas of pitching, fielding, catching, and hitting. Camp will be instructed by SMCHS coaching staff and former and current professional players.
Summer 2010 - Summer Baseball Camps at SMCHS. These camps are for all ages and skill levels. They are open to all current and future Eagle Baseball Players interested in learning fundamentals of the game. All incoming freshmen are encouraged to attend.
