CURRENT OR UPCOMING FUNDRAISERS
Following are the current or upcoming fundraisering opportunities for the players:


LUMINARY FUNDRAISER UPDATE

Please note the following IMPORTANT instructions with regards to the Luminary Fundraiser. Each week we will provide final detailed instructions by Friday at noon, so please be sure to check your email.

I’ve attached a copy of the flyer we are distributing through the above link to familiarize you with the project.

Complete Luminary Schedule:
Sat, Nov 28th: Pass out order flyers
Sat, Dec 5th: Collect order forms from those on door
Sat, Dec 10th: Assemble the Luminary Kits
Sat, Dec 19th: Deliver Luminary Kits

- Each participant is awarded at one credit per person (3 people helping from one family equals 3 credits).
- Profit to your account is determined by total number of credits you earn for participation.
- Email millers720@aol.com or call Roger at 412-478-8218 if you have not yet signed up or need to modify your schedule.
- Adult drivers are also needed and encouraged to sign up.
 
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Please note the following important information.  FLYERS ARE TO BE PLACED IN DOORS - NOT MAILBOXES (that is against the law).

1. Most important is to be Safe.
2. Wear bright colors or your Titan colors.
3. Stay on the side of the road or be careful crossing all roads.
4. Be alert.
5. Be aware of dogs.
6. If you don’t feel safe, pass up a given house.
7. Stay in pairs as much as possible.
8. Dress warm.
9. Please give your cell phone number to the person in charge of your group and get their cell phone number.
10. Sign in and sign out with the person in charge.
11. Read the order form before passing them out. We are trying to get these out to as many homes as possible. However, if stopped and asked what you are doing, try to sell to them. So, know what it is that we are selling. 
Key Points: We are trying to light up West Mifflin on Christmas Eve by having each home line the front of their house with Luminarias, (a candle in a bag supported by sand). Price 5 for 5$. We will pick up the forms next Saturday or it can be mailed in. We will deliver complete kit to your door by 12/19. Supports WM High School Baseball. If there are more questions see if the order form can answer their question and/or have them call the number on the order form. Be respectful and if needed call the adult in your group.

Boxes of Hershey and Mars candy available for Fundraising Sale:
Proceeds benefit individual player's Spring Trip accounts.
Hersheys Box includes:  Hershey Bars (plain & almond), KitKat bars, Take 5 bars, and Caramello bars (each has $1 off subway coupon)
Mars Box includes:  M&M (plain & peanut), Skittles, Snickers bars
Each box contains 52 bars sold for $1 each.  Your profit is $26 per box.

Our 1st year with "Lighting Up West Mifflin" was a huge success !!!  
The effort from all the players and families that helped with the Luminary fund raiser made the first year a great success.  We sold close to 1200 kits, 1100 to customers and 100 to player's families. This is 20% higher than the goal of 1000 kits.  See the Valley Mirror Article at the link above.

A special thanks to the Quinn family for the use of the Quinn Construction Garage and the donation of the sand.  This made the assembly and delivery efforts as efficient as possible.
